Chapter 5

"Yugi, wake up! I made breakfast!" Y/N urged. Yugi rubbed his eyes and yawned. He is so adorable! Y/N gave Yugi his portion of food and smiled sweetly. Yugi happily ate it all.

Instead of waiting for him to tell me, - if he even likes me at all - I'd be the one to tell him! Yugi and Y/N went outside. Maeryon and Tristan were playing tennis, while Téa and Joey watched.

"Come on, Tristan! You can't be this bad!" Joey shouted. "I'm not this bad, she's really good!" Tristan yelled back. "You can do it, Maeryon!" Téa cheered. Maeryon was serving this time. "20 - Love (Another way of saying zero, while playing tennis)!" Maeryon laughed.

Y/N and Yugi laughed and sat down. Eventually, Tristan got creamed! "I knew you could do it, Maeryon! You give girls a good name!" Téa chuckled. After Tristan's defeat, everyone (except for Yugi and Y/N) went inside.

"So..." Y/N was still thinking of what to say. "So...?" Yugi wondered. Y/N wanted to be the braver one, so she decided to try to tell Yugi that she had a crush on him. "Actually, Yugi... I need to tell you something..." Yugi had a confused look on his face. "What is it?"

"I've holding this secret from you for a while... Not very long, but even so, the pressure is just..." Y/N turned to face Yugi. "Anyway, what I want to tell you is that I like-- no, loved you ever since we met," Y/N confessed. Yugi just blinked, feeling quite surprised. Y/N waved her hand in front of Yugi's face.

"Um... Yugi? Are you asleep in there?" Yugi suddenly blinked and hugged Y/N. "I can't tell you how much it means to hear that, Y/N. Because I love you, too." Y/N sighed in relief. "I'm glad you love me too, Yugi!" Y/N replied.

All of a sudden, Yugi leaned over to Y/N and kissed her. I can't believe it! Yugi loves me, too! I feel so wonderful, now! "Are you two done making out?" Téa laughed.

"Of course not!" Y/N joked. "Whatever. I'm just happy for you both!" Téa beamed. "I totally ship them!" Maeryon squealed. "We said that, too and Téa just rolled her eyes at us!" Joey explained.

Y/N stared into Yugi's eyes longingly, not wanting that moment to end. She felt happy. It was the happiest day she's ever had.

"Thank you for making my life perfect, Yugi..." Y/N said to Yugi. "No, thank you, Y/N," Yugi responded. Y/N smiled and kissed Yugi's cheek. "We both made each other's lives perfect, then!"
