Chapter 7 (Edited Ver.)

Several years later...

Y/N was waiting for Yugi at a restaurant. "He said he's going to get cake... I wonder what's taking him so long?" "Here's the cake!" Yugi beamed as he brought the cake over to the table.

Y/N stared at the scrumptious looking cake. "Mmm... thank you!" Y/N replied, "I bet it's almost as sweet as you!" Y/N then winked and smiled at Yugi. Yugi blushed and smiled back at Y/N.

"So, what took you so long?" Y/N asked as she took a slice. "Um... Let's say I was practicing something," Yugi told her. "What were you practicing?" Y/N enquired, more curious than ever.

Yugi took a slice of cake and bit into it. "This cake is delicious!" Yugi said, answering a different question entirely. "Yugi!" Y/N responded, "What's up with you?" Yugi slowly looked at Y/N. "Nothing...?"

"Yugi, I'm your girlfriend. I know you. I feel like you're... hiding something," Y/N told Yugi. Yugi put his hand on Y/N's shoulder. "Y/N, I know that you know me. But what I'm planning is  meant to be a surprise," Yugi answered.

"O-- *Cough*!" Y/N started choking. Yugi patted Y/N's back. Tears streamed down Y/N face - mostly because it was very uncomfortable, choking, that is (Oof 😳).

"Next time, how about you chew your food properly, before swallowing it?" Yugi suggested. Y/N nodded. Y/N also laughed a little bit. "Okay, Yugi! Ha-ha..." Y/N replied.

Yugi kissed Y/N's cheek. "Besides, you clearly didn't like choking." Y/N laughed. "That IS true, though!" Y/N answered.

Yugi and Y/N walked out from under the canopy and a saw the navy blue sky. The stars shone brightly and radiantly, while the moon glowed elegantly.

Yugi looked at Y/N's face. Y/N had a huge smile and her eyes sparkled like jewels. "You've always been there for me when I needed you, Y/N," Yugi whispered. "Same goes for you, Yugi. You've been the for me, too."

"You know I love you, right?" Yugi asked. "Yeah, why?" Y/N wondered. Yugi searched his pockets and started searching for something. "Where did I put it?"

Y/N chuckled softly, which made Yugi blush even more. Yugi became annoyed because of his foolishness. "Where is it?" A box fell out of his pocket and Y/N noticed. "What's that?" Y/N queried.

"I'll tell you soon... But let's finish the cake first!" Yugi answered. "Okay! I bet I'll eat the whole remainder of the cake before you can even finish a slice!" Y/N challenged. "It's on!" Yugi replied.

Y/N ate the cake before Yugi even went halfway through his slice and won the challenge. Looks like people can do many things once they mind to it!

"How did you do that?" Yugi questioned. "I don't know, I guess I'm just awesome at this!" Y/N answered, "And you're awesome at dueling." "I have to agree with you on that one," Yugi added. Y/N nodded.

"But Y/N, can I ask you something?" Yugi enquired. "Definitely," Y/N told him. Yugi took out the box from earlier that night and opened it to reveal a ring. "Y/N, will you marry me?"

"Yes!" Y/N replied, "Yes, I will!"
