Several years later...
"What are we going to do now, Yugi? I mean, we've finally finished high school, college AND university, what's next for us?" Y/N enquired. Yugi was wrapped up in his thoughts. "Y/N?"
"Yes, sweets?" "First of all, that's a cute nickname you made for me and--" "Well, I called you that because you're so adorable, lovable, kind, friendly and sweet!" Y/N said enthusiastically.
"Yeah, but--" Y/N started eating the cake that Yugi bought. "This cake is delicious! Yum!" "Y/N?" Y/N started choking.
Yugi patted Y/N, so Y/N could cough out the food stuck in her throat. When Y/N finally managed to do that, Yugi faced Y/N. "Next time, how about you chew your food before you swallow?"
Y/N nodded. Yugi smiled. "Besides, you know I wouldn't want anything bad happening to you, Y/N," Yugi told her, truthfully, "And of course, I want us to be together, so..."
Y/N's eyes widened. "What are you trying to say, dear?" Yugi stared into Y/N's eyes. Y/N felt like Yugi was staring into the depths of her soul and Yugi felt the same way.
"Y/N (M/N) L/N, would you take my hand in marriage?" Yugi enquired. Y/N nearly squealed with delight. She felt her heart overloading with happiness.
"Yes!" Y/N answered optimistically. "Great! For once, I was to be the one to come to you," Yugi replied. "Is it because I'm the one doing the most confessions?" Y/N asked.
Yugi laughed. "Yeah! In a way!" Yugi chuckled. Y/N laughed along with him. Yugi wrapped his arms around Y/N and enveloped her in a warm hug. "I love you, you know..." Y/N told him.
Yugi beamed. "I know you do. And I love you just as much!" Yugi added. "I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!" Y/N sighed, happily. "I feel just as wonderful as you do, Y/N," Yugi smiled.
In the end, everything was perfect.
