(Ray's P.O.V)

"Lancelot...." Is all I muttered through grit teeth as I looked around me. The end of the East hall was shrouded in rubble; a huge hole blown into my castle. Dozens of my troops were strewn about the ground, taken down by a blast of gunpowder and Magic. I could tell because the soot on their faces was mixed with sparkles and black dust in the air.

It had been years since I felt this much anger boiling up inside of me. Not since I was in school as a child had I felt this much anguish, this much hatred..

Amongst my fallen comrades around me, I swore on my life then and there that I would avenge them.

Even if it's the last thing I do, I will take Lancelot down.

"It's confirmed. No fatalities." Sirius stepped towards me, carrying packs of medical bandages in his hands.

I looked over to him. I took a long, deep breath before speaking.

"Good. Stop all care at once Sirius. Tell the others."

Sirius narrowed his eyes at me but I kept a firm focus on him. I was not going to back down.

He nodded to me in understanding, then turned around. Luka and Seth were trying to prop up a man with a broken arm and shoulder, and Fenrir was surveying the area for the worst of the injuries.

"Luka, Seth, Fenrir. Enough." Sirius called to them, and I watched as the 3 paused and then looked my way. All of us looked exhausted; the 5 of us had been up for close to 24 hours by now.

Fenrir and I met eyes, and he became the first to interject. I knew he would.

"Ray, don't. With such a lack of sleep--"

"Duty calls." Was all I responded.

He sighed in frustration, then shook his head.

"And I thought I was reckless..."

I smirked at my best friend, before taking another deep breath. I brought my hands infront of me and willed all the Magic I could muster to them. Heat rose from my feet; through my body as sparkles began to engulf the injured men. One by one, the devastation of their injuries began to subdue. I knew I couldn't heal them completely, but I could aid broken limbs, dislocation, internal bleeding, and the rest of the worst of the nightmare.

After a few minutes, the wounded began to sit up, move around, laugh, and smile. The spilt blood that coated the rubble was gone, and though the men still suffered cuts, bruises and soreness, atleast they weren't dieing.

For a moment, as many of them stood, I felt a great relief leap in my chest.

I lowered my arms and my eyes returned to green. The heat that surged through my body subsided.

"Now that you're all feeling better." I looked around at my army, their grateful and smiling faces giving me their full attention.

"Let's win this war."

A great cheer rose through the destruction of the castle. Though this wasn't the entire brigade, this was about a quarter of them, as the East hall was home to the barracks of the East ward. Their cheers were so loud, they definitely felt like the entire army.

I nodded to Sirius, Luka and Seth, and they all took my signal to start dividing the troops and begin phase one of the war plans. I turned to head back to my study and start my own mission: getting Kelly back. But I was stopped.

"You better not be going to get Kelly alone.." Fenrir's voice was worried. I turned around, but as I did, I fumbled slightly. The exhaustion from using so much Magic hit me full force.
