" I Did Not Come This Far To Only Come This Far." ~ Author

Shit. Shit. Shit.
I growled out as I managed to roll off the hospital bed, I was confined too for the last couple hours. My patience was wearing thin and I needed to check up on the other boys. We were still in the same room just spread out on opposite sides of each other.
"Ughh." I groaned out holding my freshly stitched up side scrunching up in pain as I stood up straight. The nurse who was in the room was going to scold me, but I just glared back saying through my teeth "I'm fine." She rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to the IV bag next to Raf's bed. I walked over to Damien first, grimacing at the pain, inwardly taking deep breaths.
"Damien how's your leg?" I asked as I leant against his bed. I glanced down at his black cast, his eyes following mine. "Numb for now. Not too bad actually." He said with a smile. I snorted "That's the drugs talking, wait till they wear off." Smirking at him, I walk over to Marcio who was up and next to Raf's bed, he was still passed out after the surgery. They were able to stop the internal bleeding, but his torso was in some sort of cast, due to his 2 broken ribs.
Marcio had a cast around his wrist he was bruised and had scratches that they had to stitch up but other than that he was fully mobile...thankfully. We all had dark bruises all over our bodies but at least we were all well and alive.
"What are you doing out of bed?" I heard Uncle Niccolo snap from behind us. I rolled my eyes and turned my neck to look at him. "We're fine. Don't pop a vein." I say back with a smirk. "I for sure don't miss your attitude." Uncle Stefano said waltzing into the room. Uncle Luca was in the corner talking to the doctor, probably getting updated on Raf's condition.
The three big burly men clad in Italian suits who looked like a million bucks definitely did not easily blend in with the people in the hospital, but it seems that everyone was highly afraid of them. In this case I guess that's a good thing. I chuckled at Uncle Stefano "Missed you too my dearest uncle."
"Is he going to be okay?" Marcio mumbled from beside me as his eyes were glued to Raf's unmovable body. "He will be fine Cio. Doctor said the bleeding seemed to have stopped, his ribs are fully wrapped and it's only a matter of time before he wakes up." Uncle Luca said as we walked over to us after speaking to the doctor.
"Great." He mumbles still staring at Raf, as if him staring will make him wake up faster.
"How is dad? Did he get Aldo?" I asked turning to Uncle Nic. Stefano walked over to check on Damien.
Uncle Nic sighed and nodded "Yup he got the bastard. He was in the middle of infiltrating the mansion, but Leo and Ales handled business and seemed to have taken down most if not all of Aldo's men. They caught him snooping around your dad's office. Aldo obviously didn't think Adriano would leave his children in the hospital alone, but what he doesn't know is that Adriano is never alone."
I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. "Wait did you just say Ales?" I asked with confusion. He chuckled and nodded "Yea your twin. She seriously kicked some fuckin butt. Matteo's words, not mine."
I huffed in amazement "I knew she always had it in her." I mumbled with a small smile playing on my lips.
"So, what's he gonna do with Aldo? Kill him?" I asked. "No he's gonna do something worse. He is gonna destroy everything he got."

I tackled Ales and Leo as soon as they emergedback into the safe room. "We did it mom!!!!" Ales squealed. I mentally and physically felt my worries slipping away at holding onto these two. Leena grabbed her son and as I stepped back to examine them, they look pretty beaten up and bruised. But alive. And right now that's all that mattered.
