I woke up, sunlight streaming through my room. As I pushed myself up, my side hurting more than yesterday. Looking down at the wound, I saw a bloodstain through the pink silk. Glancing around the room I noticed the wreckage from the night before was gone, the room returned to its pristine state. I stood up and walked towards the vanity, staring back at my reflection I realized how awful I looked. My eyes were red and puffy, with huge bags and my face was sickly pale.

I jerked as the door was banged open, Ivy and her hoard of maids.

"Oh.. Good. You are already seated. We need to be quick, the houses got mad that you didn't come yesterday" Ivy said

"What" I gasped.

"Yes, You were supposed to meet the houses yesterday, now everyone thinks the Royal house of Ender is lying about having the real queen of Lyth"

Rosie hurries in, "Ivy, stop harassing the poor girl, she just found who really she is!"

"No Rosie, it's okay..." I said shakily.

"Can we get started already" Ivy wined.

"Yes, go ahead Ivy," I said.

"Jupiter, are sure about this?" Rosie asked.

"Yes," I said, a little more steady.

"Good," Ivy said, creeping towards me with a hairbrush

A long-time later I faced myself in a full-length mirror. My hair must have been dyed as instead of a dark brown it was jet black, with blue undertones. My hair was styled half up, half down, the bottom half curled the top braided and knotted on the top of my head. All the freckles and pimples had been covered up, my face highlighted giving me a dewy look and the pink blush on my cheeks and nose gave me the perfect princess look. My lips were painted a nude, it gave me a pang knowing they weren't painted red, it blinked back tears, being reminded of my father hurt more than ever. My dress was cream-colored, little lavender flowers climbing up to the bodice of the dress.

I turned around, they had corseted me so tightly I couldn't breathe. I faced Ivy.

"Well, I've done worse," Ivy said.

Rosie rushes up, "You look lovely darling, but you need to hurry. All the houses are waiting, The Crown Prince will walk you there." She said, leading me to the door.

Outside Aiden was waiting for me, talking to a young man with light brown hair. Aiden turned around when I opened the door.

"Wow, you look great," He said.

"Thank you" I stammered.

"Aiden, we need to get going, we're already late," the brown-haired boy said.

"Jupiter, this is Liam, the head of security, from house Fellinship," Aiden said.

"That's the one with shapeshifters, right?" I commented.

"Yeah" Liam stated starting to walk down the hall, "We really should get going"

"Where are we going exactly," I said, follow the head of security down set stairs.

"To meet the head of each house, since your the queen of Lyth we, The ruling house of Ender, have to introduce you to everyone else," Aiden said, rounding a corner.

"I have a question," I asked, "Is Ender your last name or something...?"

"Actually, yeah, My family founded this place and has ruled it for the majority," Aiden said.

"We're here," Liam said, pushing open a large wooden door. It opened up into a large circular marble room. It had a high domed ceiling, with large windows on the top, and benches lining the sides. People in elaborately styled dresses and tunics were seating on the polished benches, staring acquisitively at me.

"Your late" A voice boomed from the back of the room. Sitting on two high-back chairs made out of marble, gold, and diamond was a regal looking man and women with golden locks. Liam nudged me in the back and looking around me I saw everyone else in the room bowing. Following their lead, I bent down into a bow.

Aiden, the only person not bowing to the people on the chairs said, " I'm sorry Mama and Papa, but she's here now". Aiden then walked to take a seat next to his parents. Liam followed Aiden and took a seat next to him. I stood there, not knowing what to do.

"Welcome, Jupiter," The man said, standing up. His voice was cold and harsh, I immediately didn't like it.

"Thank you for inviting me," I said. I'm sure he knew I hadn't really been invited.

"Oh, It is my pleasure. Playing host to the real queen of Lyth" he said.

"Yes," I said keeping my voice cool, "thank you". The eyes around the room sat they are, staring at me silently. The conclusion I had come to last night was that if I want revenge on those who killed my father, the high court of Lyth, I would have to work with the high court of Ender. "

"Why did you say invite me here today?" I questioned

"Well, I think the reason you decided to come here today" he replied.

"To kill the King of Lyth?" I asked. The high court sitting around the room let out a high forced laugh, it bounced if the high ceiling.

"To give you back your throne, and if it comes to killing the king, then yes," he said.

"Why would you help me?" I commented.

"Because you"ll help us, we can create an alliance, bring the two greatest kingdoms, Lyth, and Ender together," he said. Something clicked, so, this was the king.

"I'll help you, your highness, but in return, we kill whoever murdered my father," I said.

"I see we have our selfs a deal"
