"lucas! code red! come on!" dustin yelled into the walkie talkie.

sky pulled out a crossbow from steve's trunk. "how did you get that?" he questioned.

sky stared at the gun, remembering when her father at her and billy when they were only young children. the two siblings were fighting over who would use the bike that day, so he grabbed his gun and shot at the two, shutting them up. "it's my dads." she sighed.

steve nodded. something is wrong. she looks so sad. "are you alright?" he asked.

sky nodded, as static came through the other end of the walkie talkie. "what do you want!" lucas yelled.

dustin grabbed the walkie from his backpack and held it up to his lips. "meet me, sky and steve at the old junkyard!" he demanded.

"sky? steve?" lucas questioned, as dustin slammed the antenna down, and headed into the woods.

the three teenagers threw down bait for the demo-dogs on the train tracks. dustin kept his head down low. "are you okay?" sky peaked around steve.

dustin sighed. "i have this crush on this girl." he began.

steve ran his hand through his hair. "it's my time to step in sky. you just got to mean to her, and act like you don't care. girls love that stuff." he winked.

sky rolled her eyes. "who's the girl?" she asked.

dustin avoided eye contact. "your sister." he mumbled.

sky gasped, and shoved steve on the other side of her. "don't you fucking dare my mean to my sister, or i'll hurt you." she shook the gun in her hand.

dustin's eyes bulged out of his eye sockets when he saw the gun in her hand. "i wouldn't. she's special." his voice quivered.

steve scoffed. "she's just gonna break your heart and you are way too young for that." he snarled.

sky punched his arm, causing him to drop his bucket on the train tracks. "shit!" he yelled.

dustin ignored steve's advice. "she's just like nancy. she's special, but she doesn't seem to be as special as her." he pointed towards sky.

steve's eyes sparkled, when sky linked eye contact with him. "yeah, she is pretty special, isn't she?" he smiled at her.
