Arturo

He felt hollow, like something was missing and he knew exactly what it was; or rather who. As the gates to the compound drew open he was met by several voices of his men surprised but relieved to see the last Martini safely in the compound. As he drifted like a ghost to the front door it flung open immediately as he was quickly swept into the arms of Greece.
"You're back!" She screamed delighted.

Arturo chuckled smiling at her excitement, "How are you sorella?" (sister)
Greece grinned kissing his cheek quickly, "I was worried sick—"
"Ah yes she wouldn't leave any of us alone about it either!" Allegro emerged giving Arturo a hug.
"Why did you take so long fratello?" (brother) Allegro gave him a knowing look which Arturo ignored as he heard his twin scream excitedly upon seeing him

"I thought I'd never see you again!" Alessando dramatized.
"What took you so long?"
Arturo ignored the question again as Alejandro gave him a hug in greeting, "Took you long enough, Greece wouldn't stop worrying!" Alejandro rolled his eyes and Arturo chuckled.
Greece huffed, "Seems as though I was the only who was worried."
Arturo watched as Allegro wrapped Greece in his arms kissing her forehead. The little act of affection making Arturo's heart constrict.

Arturo looked away when Greece gave him a curious expression and Arturo suddenly shook his head trying to change his mood, "Have you gotten any leads?"
"You mean if we're any closer to getting the package?" Alejandro asked, "well the answer is no."
"They've increased security on all fronts" Alessando sighed as the five of them made their way into the living room.

Arturo bit his lip, he was the reason they hadn't obtained the package and now sitting looking at his family he felt guilty.
"I'm sorry." Arturo said regretfully, "I let everyone down."
"No no, no apologies." Allegro's voice rang out, "You don't need to apologize for anything. It wasn't you're fault, as a family we will plan another mission."
Arturo nodded, grateful for his oldest brother Allegro, he was actually the youngest only by three minutes to his twin.

The five of them sat at the table and without him knowing it he was receiving curious gazes from Greece and Allegro as they ate. The couple kept shooting each other knowing looks as they went about their meal but Arturo was too in his thoughts about Dallas to notice. His twin was beside him with a grin to his face, Arturo had known Alessando had missed him, as boys the two had been inseparable and shared everything because no one except their immediate family could tell them apart; it even took Allegro and Alejandro awhile to get accustomed.

Arturo also appreciated Greece always trying but even though she had been there for awhile she still got confused. Arturo looked up to catch Allegro's eyes who were trained on him and he sent his brother a nod before getting up and heading to the gym where he could throw some knives and get out of this funk or whatever feeling ached in his chest. Arturo threw over fifty knives that evening and as sweat was smeared across his forehead all he could do was continue, not feeling any better.

He had lost track of time until Allegro's voice rang out in the gym.
"What's her name?" Allegro asked knowingly, "And don't bother lying."
Arturo's mouth hung open staring at his brother, "Dallas."
Allegro nodded his lips pursed, "She's the one who stitched you up."
Arturo sighed, "She's a Doctor."

"She has a life." Allegro said trying to understand.
Arturo nodded, it was the reason he couldn't pull her into his.
"Tell me, how long do you plan to mope before you ask her to come to the compound."
Arturo looked at him wide eyed, it had been the rule for years that no women were allowed at the compound for their safety until Allegro had fallen in love with Greece and the rule changed— but he couldn't be selfish no matter how appealing it sounded.

"I won't ask her to do that, leave her life for me."
Allegro looked at him thoughtful, "What if she was waiting for you to ask?"
Arturo shook his head in disbelief, "I don't want to talk about this Allegro!"
Allegro nodded, "Greece caught on, she sent me here to talk to you. Don't expect her to go easy on you."
Arturo couldn't help but smile, "Fuck off."
Allegro chuckled before leaving the gym.

Early the next morning Arturo walked into the kitchen to see both Alejandro and Greece arguing over eggs and it was a sight to behold. Alejandro was holding them over his head so Greece could in no way reach them, "Oh you asshole!" She screamed pounding his chest, "Give them to me!"
Alejandro shook his head leaning down to pat her hair, "Nope."
Arturo shook his head at their antics, remembering a time vaguely when Alejandro had despised Greece and had sent her away because he didn't trust her being here.

However that had not changed as Greece was almost as close to Alejandro as she was Allegro and Alejandro didn't listen to anyone but Greece. You could tell that Alejandro loved her like a sister, guess he had too anyway, after she took a bullet for him. At the sight of him Greece rushed over, "Tell your brother to gimme the eggs!" She wailed.
Arturo chuckled, "I do not want to get into that war!"
Greece huffed, "Allegro has called a meeting later today." Alejandro stated and he nodded, still holding the eggs in his hand.

Arturo took his sandwich outside leaving his family to continue fighting over food as he nodded his head at men who were patrolling the compound yard and around the house. He sat on the stairs and casted his eyes on his surroundings. The pain in his chest no better than yesterday and he sighed again, regret filling him, maybe he should have asked her if she wanted to come with him— Or did she even feel the same way?
