Arturo
Arturo felt as if his limbs were hanging from his body as he stumbled through the vacant streets. The lamppost dimming his way as it flickered above. His hands were covered in blood from his wound and as he limped to god knows where he winced as the gash on his forehead was giving him a hell of a headache. Arturo never thought in a million years he'd ever think this but he should have listened to his twin. Alessando wasn't known to be the wise one, he was impulsive and childish, but Arturo and his brother's loved him and now as it was nearing three am, Arturo wanted to rewind the last eight hours and take his brother's advice.
Exhaustion taking over, Arturo slumped against a wall on the side of the road, unable to go any further. He'd lost his phone back there during the raid and he was sure it must have at least a million messages. He'd been expected to be back at the compound five hours ago and well he knew by now, Allegro must have sent a search team out for him. It was only a matter of time before they found him. Arturo gulped, at least he'd hoped they'd find him before he bled out.
Arturo gritted his teeth and grunted as he stuck his hand into the wound to pull out the last few glass chards from his side. The fucker had hit him with a glass bottle right before Arturo had stuck a knife into his eye. Knives were his specialty, anything to do with a them, Arturo knew how to do it. Arturo throw the pieces of glass on the sidewalk as he continued to stumble, like a fish out of water and with no where to go and no phone to contact anyone.
You see, the plan had been simple, get in get out. Take what was theirs and leave and sure everything was going fine until a truck load of men emptied out surrounding the perimeter and Arturo didn't have the package Allegro had specifically asked him to get and in an attempt to retrieve it he stayed behind, much to the annoyance of his twin who had insisted they needed to get the fuck out before they died. Arturo didn't listen.
He had shoved his twin towards the exit and he, himself had gone in the opposite direction in search of the package. Only to be caught in the arms of the people they'd been raiding and of course, with the fight being twenty to one they beat the shit out of him but miraculously Arturo managed to slip out and was now limping his way down the street, brutally beaten and bruised and constantly keeping an eye out to see if he was being followed. Their compound was almost three hours away driving so Arturo knew he had to hang in there before any help would be arriving. Shivering he tightened his fists as he started again down the empty street.
If he was being honest, Arturo had no idea where he was or how long he'd been walking but he was no longer on an empty street. Beside him, townhouses flooded his vision on both sides and it was then Arturo knew he'd entered into a residential area. He kept his head down, in the hopes that no one would see him and he'd get where he needed to go quickly and without trouble. Arturo cried out suddenly as the gash in his side seemed to be acting up and the blood he was able to stop from flowing began to burst like ripples of water in the ocean.
Arturo sank to his knees on the concrete pavement, his vision becoming fussy. He licked his lips, craving the chocolate cake Greece, Allegro's girlfriend had baked earlier that afternoon.
"Hey!" A voice rang out in his ears and Arturo groaned.
"Are you okay?" The voice was soft melodic and Arturo only grumbled.Arturo's green eyes fluttered catching a glimpse of the woman's face. Her brown eyes were staring at him with worry and Arturo reached out for her, "Help...." he gurgled before losing all consciousness.
