A Love We Never Saw Happen

Chapter Eight

Saturday

The week went by fast for everyone. Everyone at school was slowly expecting the fact that Ming and Lian were dating. When Saturday finally came around Lian, Rose and Jiang headed over to Ming's house. Ming mother let them in telling them that Ming was still in bed.

''Me and Jiang will help make breakfast'' Rose said smiling big ''Lian, why don't you go wake up your boyfriend.''

Lian laughed and nodded as he headed up the stairs. Even though he had been there many times before it was still weird for him to just walk around his boyfriends house. He reached Ming's room and started to open it but choose to knock first.

''Ming, are you awake yet'' Lian said.

He listened and didn't get an answer back. He sighed and shook his head as he opened the door. He leaned against the door frame looking into the room to find Ming still sleeping. Lian walked over and sat on the bed reaching over to shake him softly.

''Ming, it's time to get up'' he said.

Ming grunted and rolled over to face the wall. Lian laughed and shook him again. Ming didn't move an inch. Lian sighed and turned around claiming onto the bed as he hovered over him his face only inches away from Ming's face.

''If you don't get up then you will leave me no choice but to get your mother'' he said softly.

Ming reached up and tried to push him away ''I want to sleep more'' he said.

Lian grabbed a hold of his hand and pinned it down to the bed ''If that doesn't work then I could always just kiss you till you wake up'' he said whispering in his ear.

Ming's eyes opened wide and his face went red as he turned to look at Lian. Lian smiled looking back at him ''You wouldn't dare'' Ming said.

''Try me'' Lian said ''Go back to sleep and see what happens. Plus, I'm not the only one here. I don't know when Rose or Jiang will choose to come in.''

Ming sat up looking at the open door '' You left the door open?''

Lian shrugged and moved to sit on the bed again ''I didn't think it was right to shut the door'' he said ''Wouldn't want everyone else thinking something was going on.''

Ming  laughed and looked away talking to himself ''As if'' he said softly ''We haven't even kissed yet.'' 

Ming reached over looking out the window. Lian watched him and smiled more. He reached his hand out and placed it on Ming's cheek softly. Ming jumped a little and looked at him. Lian started to pull him close but Ming pushed away and jumped out of bed.

''I'm going to wash up'' he said then ran out of the room. 

Lian sat there and sighed a bit then stood ''I'll let the others know'' he said as he started down the stairs.

Rose and Jiang were waiting at the bottom when they just saw Lian coming down ''Where is Ming'' Rose said.

Lian rubbed the back of his head and pointed ''Washing up and changing'' he said the headed into the kitchen.

Rose and Jiang watched Lian then looked at each other. They could tell something was up from the look on Lian's face. Jiang crossed his arms and looked up the stairs then turned and walked into the kitchen as well with Rose following.

A few moments later Ming walked in smiling as he was drying his hair. Rose and Ming's mother were placing everything on the table.

''It's about time you joined us'' his mother said ''I was about to let everyone eat everything and leave nothing for you.''
