A Love We Never Saw Happen

Chapter Nine

Once the bus finally stopped, everyone got off and grabbed up their bags. They still had a bit of a hike to go till they reached the camp site. Lian grabbed up Ming's bag for him and held his hand. The twins ran a head of everyone with Lang following behind them. Kun stayed next to Han and made sure the girls stayed between him and Jiang who was walking with Rose. After about an hour hike they finally reached the camp site. Everyone started to set the tents up one by one and put their stuff inside. 

Once everything was set up everyone split up to find firewood for the campfire. Ming went to help Rose and May get things ready for dinner while everyone else sat around the campfire. Lian wondered over hugging Ming from behind placing his chin on Ming's shoulder. Ming wiggled and turned around to look at him.

''Go sit with the others'' he said ''Food will be ready soon.'' He pushed Lian back to the campfire.

''Ok ok'' he said ''I'm going.'' He raised his hands up and laughed as he walked off to sit down.

Ming walked back over to Rose who was shaking her head and laughing ''He just can't let you out of his sight can he'' she said.

''I wonder who is really taming who'' May said teasingly.

Ming laughed and went back to cooking. After dinner everyone sat around talking about what they had planned for the next day. Ming and a few others started to get tired and had choose to head off to bed leaving Lian, Jiang, Lang and Han up. Jiang sat there poking the fire with a stick when Lian looked over at him.

''You know, teasing Kun the way you did today on the bus wasn't a good idea'' Lian said ''He sometimes takes those to heart.''

Jiang looked up at him and smiled ''I just wanted him to stop asking so many stupid things'' he said ''I will have a proper talk with him tomorrow and apologize as well.''

Han looked up confused then looked at Lang who was also lost ''What did you do to Kun'' Han asked Jiang.

Jiang turned back to the fire and tossed another log onto it ''All I did was kiss him so he would shut up.''

Han spit out his drink and laughed ''That explains why he was red when I sat back next to him.''

Lian laughed and looked over at the tent that Ming was sleeping in. He got up and headed towards the near by waterfall. The others watched him but it was only Jiang that got up and followed him. Lian stood near the water edge looking up at the full moon that hung over them.

''Is something on your mind'' Jiang asked as he walked over to stand next to him.

''I just wonder if I can really make him happy'' Lian said ''He says he is and everything but how long can it last.'' He turned around to look back at the camp site. He was able to see their tent from where he stood.

Jiang stuck his hands in his pockets and looked down at the water giving it a few kicks ''No one really knows how much time we can have with each other'' he said ''The only thing you can do is enjoy the time you have right now with each other. These are the moments that matter the most.'' He turned and looked back as well and smiled ''Even if it is the little things like teasing each other, spending time with our friends, or even just taking a short camping trip together.''

Lian turned and looked at him ''Because it is the little things we will member'' he said then nudged Jiang ''Such as teasing Kun with a kiss.''

Jiang laughed and shrugged then headed back to camp. As Jiang was coming back Ming was waking up looking around for Lian. Jiang pointed behind him to the waterfall. Ming nodded and headed over. Lian had his back to Ming when he snuck up on him.
