Saturday

Ming sat at the far back table in a coffee shop next to the window on his computer. He was writing a blog while listening to music. He never really paid much attention around him while he wrote. Ming pushed his glasses up on his face then picked up his cup of coffee cup and took a sip as he looked out the window. He watched as people from his class walk past laughing and having fun. Ming didn't like being around in a group of people.

Ming sighed and turned back to his computer. He had one more year of school left. All of his high school life was quiet and he liked it that way. He hoped things would stay this way till he graduated. Then again it was only the start of the school year. Ming could hear the laughter from the group of friends drawing closer and louder. He looked up in time to see them coming inside the coffee shop.

Ming tired to ignore them like he always does. He turns the volume up on the music and gets back to writing. He slowly looked up again at the group. Most everyone was from his class, but there was a couple of people he didn't know. Seeing his class mates in their normal clothes was a bit weird but he was still able to tell who was who.

There was four girls May, Rose, Lilly, and Iris. Although that wasn't their real names that was the names they went by none the less. People called them the flower group. Next to the girls was four boys from his class Yang and Fang the twins, Jiang and Lang. Everyone called them the Ang group cause their names sounded the same.

Jiang turned to one of the two other boys that was with them. His hair was black with white streaks. He wore almost all black and his left ear had four piercings. To Ming the guy looked like trouble. The more Ming looked at him the more he started to notice who he was. His name was Lian. He was in the same grade but in a different class then everyone. Ming looked at the guy on the other side of Lian. It was Kun, Lian's best friend.

Ming wasn't sure how Jiang knew them, but then again Ming could care less. Ming closed his computer and shoved it into his bag. He shook and pulled on his jacket as well as his scarf. He wanted to get out of there before Jiang saw him. Jiang always tired to get Ming to join them in what ever they were doing and he didn't want to get dragged into anything with them or Lian and his friend.

Ming grabbed his bag and coffee then headed to the door keeping his head down. Just as Ming reached his hand out to the door someone had rushed in and bumped into him knocking him down and his glasses off his face.

''I'm sorry'' they said reaching down to help Ming up.

''It's ok'' Ming said softly as he looked around for his glasses.

Ming sighed and stood up giving up on his glasses. It wasn't like he really needed them anyways. He picked his bag up and headed out the door. He felt embarrassed.

The group of friends watched as Ming left. Jiang wanted to go after him to make sure he was ok but he knew Ming would have wanted to be left alone. Turning back around he saw Lian lean down then stand back up holding something in his hand. It was Ming's glasses.

''If you give them to me I will give them back to him at school'' Jiang said holding his hand out.

Lian stood there looking at the glasses for a moment then shook his head as he placed them inside his own bag ''I will do it'' he said ''After all I was the one to pick them up.''

Jiang smiled and nodded a bit ''Ok, well he is in the same class as me.''

''I already know'' he said then turned around to place his order.

Jiang watched Lian close as the smile on his face started to fade away. Just how did he know and why did he want to give them back to Ming? Jiang just shook it off and didn't think to mind it anymore. It was just returning his glasses what more could happen?
