The Fire Over My Eyes

Prologue

"Hey Leo when do you think the phones will be done? We aren't getting any younger waiting out here." Said Percy as he peered into the dark room, known as Bunker 9.

"Leo?" he asked again as he went over to the workbench that seemed to be void of anything that was once on it. He looked around a while longer until the door slammed shut. Percy's head whipped around to see a note being held by a knife that had a red substance dripping from it.

I-is that blood? He thought as he turned pale, Where is Leo? His legs guided him to the note and pulled it off of the door gently the note read;

Dear whomever is reading this,

Congratulations you actually came to check up on me, that's the time first anyone has come to see me. Oh, you probably wanted me to build something... Well too bad.

Anyway as you can see I am not here and I will never be working in this room again. For I, Leo Valdez, have left camp. You must be shocked that I would make a decision like that, huh?

Well, I figured that I was no longer needed, everyone made that clear when you all started talking behind my back. Oh, what's that didn't think I would notice? Well, tough luck.

Now to the seven - well now six - I leave you my burning hate and hope that you all never find peace. So I guess the last thing you all get to see of me is this note, oh and the blood? That's a little gift to whoever finds this and when you need my help I will deny helping you at all.

Well, my time is up. Goodbye,

Percy seemed to quickly snap out of the trance he was in and run outside to find Chiron.

Standing on the hill was a figure that looked back at the camp with burning disappointment in his eyes. He turned and started walking away without sparing the camp another glance.

Or

The wars are over and Hera has decided that Leo is not appreciated enough. She decides to show the Avengers his memories, the reason being because she sees that the Avengers are losing trust in one another, but also because she cares for Leo deeply.

Will Leo find closure? Or will he never be able to live normally again?
