Hey guys, thank you for deciding to read this book. Fair warning, I'm a little lazy so I hope I can update often. To my current readers wondering where all the chapters to this story went, I decided to rewrite it (I mentioned this in my Authors Note) so i'll be uploading the new edited chapters. I hope you like it better than the old stuff :D

"Come on, come on. DAMN IT!" I shouted at my computer screen.

"God Lexi, what are you even playing?" Brittany asked over the phone.

"It's a very frustrating computer game, I'm trying to defeat this boss in a dungeon but I keep dying."

"I didn't even know how you play those games all the time. Don't you get bored?" she scoffed.

"Nope. How about you play it with me and find out?" I asked.

"Absolutely not."

"Oh come on, I ne-" BANG!

I groaned this is the fifth time I’ve been interrupted by the movers and their loud noises.

"I can't do this anymore Brittany, if I hear another loud bang I'm going to lose it."

She laughed, "Don't worry I'm sure they're almost done. Is the new family moving in today?"

"Yeah, the truck with all their junk got here this morning and the movers are putting it in the basement."

"Aren't you excited to know who is moving in?" she asked.

"I could care less as long as they don't bother me."

"Lexi, they're here." my mom shouted.

"Got to go Brittany."

"Later." she said as I hung up the phone. I reluctantly saved and shut down my game, trudging down the stairs I couldn’t help but wonder who was moving into my house, as I walked towards the front door I noticed; a man, a woman and a little boy standing in the entry way. The man looked to be a bit taller than the woman next to him, he smiled warmly at me, his hazel eyes lighting up. I quickly sized him up, and he scratched his dark brown hair nervously under my scrutiny. My eyes turned to the woman next to him, she also smiled warmly at me, her green eyes lighting up as well. Then my gaze rested on the boy, he looked at me with curiosity, he definitely got his eyes from his dad and had the same wavy brown hair like his mother. Then I noticed the shirt he was wearing,

“Finn!” I shouted, his eyes widened in alarm and quickly looked down at my shirt.

“Jake!” he yelled back. I beamed at him, this kid and I will be the best of friends. I watched as he walked over to where I stood.

“What’s your name lady?” he questioned.

“Toby!” His mother scolded.
