The End

It was time! The doctor, Billy's ma by my side for the delivery. 

*Billy's POV*

Me and Tillie were married now, I'm waiting outside with the Cartwright's because the baby's coming. I heard her screaming, made me have the urge to run in there and help her. Ben gave me a pat on the shoulder.

"They have it under control, she's fine."

I sighed.

"Can't believe this is really happenin', I'm gonna be a Pa."

"Come up with any names yet?" Adam asked.

"No, we've been arguin' though about names, we don't know if it's a boy or girl."

"It'll come to y'all," Hoss said.

They nodded.

"You know Hoss has been a long time nickname for me. You know my real name?"

"No sir?"

"It's Eric."

I nodded.

"You two'll come up with a good name."

After what seemed like forever, I heard the cries of a baby, Ma and the doctor walked out.

"Congratulations Mr. Burgess, got a healthy baby girl in there."

"Thanks doc."

Ma started to cry, she gave me a hug.

"I have a daughter!" I said.

I walked in the master room, Tillie was holding the baby.

"Billy, come here."

I sat by her.

"She's cute."

"She's got your eyes."

"And we haven't named her."

"I suggested Isabella if it was a girl, Belle for short."

"Well, I guess I could live with that, it's a pretty name."

"Isabella Matilda Burgess, it is."

We smiled. 

"Let me hold her, have the Cartwrights meet her."

She nodded.

I took her and walked out.

"I'd like you to meet Isabella Matilda Burgess."

They smiled.

"My goodness," Ben said.

They all got a good look at her.
