Chapter 5

They went back inside to meet their friends who were already staring at them as they walked towards them.

What's got Cheresse blushing? Where did you guys go and what did you do?

Shut up already, Cheresse warned Shantelle who wouldn't stop laughing.

Get your head out of the gutter, silly.

I can see you already have eyes for my girl. She smirked and Damien glared at her. You can deny it all you want, but you and I know what I'm talking about, she winked at him.

Okay so that will be my call. See you later.
Where is he going to?

You don't know? Tracy said. Girl you're so lost. He's in a band okay and he's the lead singer, those two boys are his friends . They're really good. She just nodded and watched as they started doing their thing.

They're really good, Cheresse said whiles Tracy and red jumped around to the beat.

Why do I feel like he's singing this song for you Cheresse? Shantelle raised her brows and folded her arms looking at her.

Stop being delusional, she rolled her eyes. He doesn't like me in any way. I'm not his type. Look at all the girls clinging to him.

Is someone jealous? She just shook her head in annoyance. Have you seen yourself? I wish I had a body like yours. You're beautiful, smart, perfect boobs and ass to die for and those lips, I bet Damian was dying to kiss you. This got the girls laughing. Just as they ended their song,  Red gave Cheresse's phone to her which had three missed calls from her dad and two from the chauffeur. This got her eyes widening.

We are so dead. Why didn't you tell me earlier on?

You were having fun and I didn't want to be the one to spoil it.

Now I'm going to be grounded.

Stop exaggerating it's only been twenty minutes passed your curfew. She just glared at her friend .

Girls I'm really sorry but I have to get going, it's way past my curfew.

Ooh your bad, the fun is just about to begin. Damien joined them just as she was about leaving.

Hold on, he held unto her arm. You can't leave without giving me your digits. Already placing his phone into her hand. She blushed as she punched in her digits and waved them good bye .

Her heart was beating wildly and she crossed her fingers at her back as she went into the hall with red behind her. She didn't see her parents anywhere and she quickly made her way to the stairs. Just as she put her foot or the stairs, she heard her father's voice.

You're late! He said with his lips pursed. Why weren't you answering your phone? She began to answer but was cut off. Do you know how worried we were? We almost called the police but Jasper notified us that he's seen you. Just look at the time? What if something happened to you?

I'm sorry dad. We're sorry Mr Parker red said beside her. I so want to ground you right now and you know what it means when you're grounded but I'm gonna let this slide just this once but a repeat of this will not be overlooked, now get to bed.

She walked to her dad and gave him a kiss on the cheek. It won't happen again dad, I'm really sorry.

I hope so.  They quickly scrambled to her room. They released a breathe they didn't know they were holding.

That was close. You should really tell me when something like that comes up next time. You know how my dad gets when he's angry. He's worse than my mum. I may be an only child but they don't let me go scot free when need be. Damn I'm so tired. How was the party?

It was nice, I really enjoyed myself but I should be asking you that. It looks like you had the most fun.

What are you talking about?

Oh spare me that. You know perfectly well what I'm talking about now spill.

Ugh I'm exhausted can't we have this conversation later in the morning? She shook her head no. Okay at least let's go take our bath, I'm sticky .

So they did just that and wore their matching bunny pajamas and got into bed. Now spill, Red said .

You're just not gonna let this slide are you? Nope, she mouthed. Okay, I don't know what you guys are thinking but he doesn't like me and I don't like him. I mean we just met. Yes he's a little bit handsome.

Just a little? Stop lying to yourself. Even I know he's really handsome with that curly hair and thick eyebrows. I mean just look at his eye lashes, I'll kill to have lashes as long as his.

Here goes the exaggeration queen. Now tell me who likes him?

Oh come on just admit that he's fine and he's all yours, you have nothing to worry about she winked.

Oh please I don't like him but I'll admit he's one fine boy. He's funny and cute, oh and sweet. I could literally see his abs through his shirt . And those golden orbs gurl, that's some Greek god we've got there.

You're now talking, and if you don't like him as you say why are you blushing? I'm not, shut up. Yes you so are. But seriously though, you should give him a shot. I can tell he likes you. I know you think a lot of them take advantage of you and are just in for your money and fame but come on you'll never know until you give it a try. Learn to take risks. I mean what do you have to loose if it doesn't work out? Just think about it.

Alright, I will when it gets to that but just so you know, I don't like him. Get that into your thick skull.
