Good morning dad. She pecked him on his cheek.

How was your date princess?

It went well actually. I had a good time.she munched on some cornflakes.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I really like that boy. He's such a gentleman.

She blushed and cleared her throat. Okay dad. Can I drive to school today? Just today please.

Princess, you know I'll do anything for you except allowing you to drive on your own and you already know why. Since I won't be the one to drive you, that's the only way I'm rest assured you're safe. It's not going to kill you if you don't drive. Just understand and bless me with peace of mind knowing that you're okay.

Okay dad, it's alright. I should get going then.

Alright baby have a nice day.

She walked to her locker and got the stuff she needed for biology. Just as she sat down on her seat she saw Chelsea Brown and her minions walk towards her. 

I know we haven't properly met but I'm sure you already know who I am. I'm still going to introduce myself though, as you already know I'm Chelsea Brown and these are friends Ashley and Nichole. I'll just go straight to the post Cheresse, no one takes what's mine and you seem to be doing just that. She smiled down at her.

And what will that be? Cheresse asked.

Listen very carefully, I'm being really nice and patient with you just this once so don't try to mess with me . Damien is mine and mine alone so I'll advice you stay away from him, I won't say this again.

You have nothing to worry about, there's nothing going on between us and I don't plan on taking him from you. He's all yours.

I hope so. You wouldn't like me if I find out otherwise. Cheresse just rolled her eyes at Chelsea's little tantrum. Just then the teacher came in and they left to go take their seat. She just sighed and took notes as the teacher took them through the parts of a cow. The bell rang for end of the class and they all scrambled out to their next class which was arts, fortunately for her Shantelle and Tracy took the same class.

They were assigned to draw and paint anything they could think of. Cheresse loved to draw that explains why she took the class. So she decided to draw she and Red walking by the beach hand in hand with the sun setting ahead of them and of course she drew without breaking a sweat and with so much ease. Just as she finished she felt a presence beside her so she looked up to see Mr  Baker looking down at her work making her blush.

I must say I'm impressed. This is one spectacular piece of art and I mean you did this within half an hour? Wow! Do you mind if I call the others to have a look at your work? She shook her head no. Alright guys gather around. She could hear gasps and a whole lot of murmuring. That's her, she heard someone say. She's really good. This made her blush furiously.

Okay guys let's give Ms Parker the chance to explain the thought behind her work. She walked in front of the class with red cheeks and shaking fingers.

Erm so , this is nothing really but as you can already tell that's me and my best friend walking along the beach during our stay in London one summer.

This is really beautiful, she head people say among themselves, it then turned into a series of claps. Her friends had still not said anything and she knew that was the calm before the storm, she chuckled. The bell finally rung and they walked into the cafeteria side by side. They got their food and took their seat. Damien joined them not too long after.
