Present:
Staring down into the dark waters, she smiled.
Though through tears,
she finally smiled. She was back at the place everything had changed, everything has started.
The wind howled, slashing out at her like claws of a beast, making the already churning waters even more violent. The hot tears trailed down her icy cheeks, leaving a stream of warmth.
She thought about how she had tried and tried again at the game life played,
or better said,
the game life had played with her.
Always laying out for her to lose.
Always cheating.
Well now she too would cheat.
She would cheat life. The people were never happy,
and they were never going to be happy!
Tonight, tonight would be the night when the torture and all her pain would finally end.As she stared down into the abyss of the deep ocean, beautiful thoughts filled her head.
"Finally, I will join with the galaxy. My thoughts, will be whispered to the ocean by my ghost. And my soul, it will live upon the stars."
"Finally, I will escape this hell some people call earth.
Finally, I will move on from the torture some people call life."She thought about all this, right before she jumped off the white glimmering cliffs,
that joined two parts of land like a bridge. Her last wish,
Her last dream,
was that she too,
would have had some one to hold her heart together,
to keep her afloat during the storms people created.
Just like the cliff,
the bridge of land,
was doing for nature. She thought about all this, before taking one last look back to land,
then staring up at the twinkling night sky,
and all the stars in the galaxy reflecting their beauty in the water. With her heartbeat thumping like a stone heavy inside her chest, she sighed
and jumped into the waves thrashing like children excited to greet her,
to finally end it all.
