I screamed as my father threw me against the kitchen wall, giving me even more bruises. He stormed over to my quivering body, and started kicking it. I screamed at my mother to help me, but she just stood there, laughing like a crazy person. Was my pain really that funny?
My so called 'parents' soon finished my torture and left to go to the pub. I slowly stood up, my legs weak and jelly-like from the beating. I winced as my arm started stinging from all the cuts I had received. I ended up crawling to my room, a crying mess. I grabbed a backpack as quickly as possible the moment I entered my room, packing it with food and water I stored in my room. I didn't bother with clothes, as they were all ruined thanks to the people who 'rule' over me. I looked out of the window, to find it almost pitch black. "Perfect." I mumbled as I steadily went back downstairs, trying not to slip. When I reached the front door, I quickly unlocked it and sprinted away. I didn't care if someone robbed the house because I left the door wide open, I just wanted to leave that hell-hole.
—Time Skip—
I stopped jogging and decided to walk, as I was pretty tired. It was probably way past midnight by now. A small smile appeared on my face as I found a building that looked abandoned. "I can hide in here." I said to myself as I went up to the door. I slowly pushed it open; it made a loud creaking noise. I took one step in, then another, and another. Until I heard the door slam behind me. I ran back to it, my legs aching, only to find it locked. I sighed as I span back around, to find something behind me. I jumped back in surprise, but didn't scream. It looked at me, it's dark silhouette stood tall. I looked up to find a weirdly shaped head in the dim light. "H-hi." I whispered, my voice cracking slightly. It bent down, (although it was still taller than me) and I could now clearly see its head. It had two deformed horns at the top, and a huge toothy grin plastered underneath a load of ink. I cringed at the stink of ink from not only the thing, but the whole place. Its head tilted slightly as I stared into the dark abyss of ink it had for eyes. I smiled slightly. The thing revealed a gloved hand and pulled my left arm towards its face. It pointed at my cuts and bruises. "Oh. Um my parents did that..." I said in a shaky tone. It stood back up to it's full height and dragged me along with it. We went deeper into the place, going deep into the ruins. The creature pulled me into a room and what I saw horrified me. There was a kind of 3D cartoon wolf with it's chest ripped open on a huge lab table. "D-did your parents do this?" I asked the thing. It nodded, looking away from its dead friend. I felt sorry for the thing, so I hugged it without thinking. It was shocked from the sudden action, but soon hugged back. Before I knew it, I was led on the dust floor, my head on its shoulder. "I love you." I mumbled to the thing I had learned to call Bendy. It purred in response, wrapping it's long arm around my waist.
