"Oof!" I heard someone say, followed by a load of loud crashes and bangs. I crept around the corner to see an actual human stood at the top of a staircase. They span around and spotted me. "Oh! Hello!" They said as they came towards me. I slowly backed away, my eyes full of fear. "Hey... Hey. I'm not gonna hurt you!" They said as they came closer and closer. They held out their hand and I carefully took it. "I'm Dee." They said in a calm voice. I nodded. "Let's finish this." I spoke in a meaningful manner.
