Clary's P.O.V
Clary stayed home today. She didn't want to go to school and thank GOD she didn't have to. Simon was with her too. Since he was Jace's second victim, he got to stay as well. They were in my room watching Jaws, when Jocelyn ( Clary's mum ) came in. "Hey guys"'she said. "Is it alright if I talk to Clary for a bit?" No one moved. Jocelyn looked at Simon. "Alone." She added. Simon got up and left the room while Clary paused the film.
"Yeah?" asked clary.
"Clary. What happened at school?" Jocelyn asked
"I told you mum, I tripped and hit - " clary began.
"I want the truth." Interrupted Jocelyn. Clary didn't reply. She just hung her head in shame. She couldn't tell her mum she was being bullied. Jocelyn would phone the school, the school would punish Jace, Jace would know she told on him and end result: getting beat up again. If Clary wanted it to stop she had to make it stop on her own accords. "Ok, then." Jocelyn got up and headed for the door. Before she leftshe said "Simon knows. doesn't he?" Clary nodded and with that her mum left. Two minutes later Simon came back in. "What are you going to do Clary?"
"I don't know." Clary answered. Tears started to well up in her eyes.
"It's ok, Clary." Simon reassured. "I am going to help you get throughout his. I will not leave your side." Clary moved over on the bed and patted for Simon to lie down next to her. He got on the bed and put his arm around clary. "I love you, Simon." Clary said. Simons heart skipped a beat, then he realised that she meant it in a friend way. "I love you too." Really. They closed there eyes and fell asleep there.
