A/N: I'm really sorry that I haven't updated in a while, but I'm writing another book about TMI and so far it has 5k views so that's why I'm concentrating more on that one. By the way my other book is called 'city of children' by loladybird. Thnx.

Oh, God. No no no no no no no no no no no no no. Not again. Go away. Go away! Clary turned around and hid her face in Her locker. Unfortunately for Clary, Jace still saw her as he walked down the hall. "Hello Fray. Hope I didn't hurt you too bad." He swung his leg underneath Clary's and tripped her up.
"You ass." The words fell her mouth as she fell to the ground.
"What did you just call me?" Jace stared into Clary's eyes. Anger burning gold in his iris.
"Nothing." Clary couldn't face what would happen next if she repeated her words. Jace walked away as Clary lifted herself up. She looked around for her jumper that she'd been holding. Oh, Crap. Clary thought. Jace must've taken it. And instead of her jumper, she found her phone on the floor - smashed. She was going to walk home, but without her jumper, it would be way to cold. She couldn't phone home for a lift and she didn't have any money for a taxi. Crap. Clary thought again. She walked over to the window and looked outside. It was snowing. *Shi-
"Hey Clary." Said someone, interrupting Clary's swearing thoughts. * A/N: just pretend it can snow in America.
Clary turned round and looked up at dark brown eyes.
"Hey Simon." She replied. Simon smiled in response and Clary returned the smile.
"Clary I - " Simon started, but was abruptly cut of by the school bell. Class time. "Oh, shi-"
"Language Simon." Miss Bilinger reminded him as she walked pass to go and teach her class.
"Oh no, I'm going to be late." Clary stated. "Bye Simon. I'll talk to you later ok?" She didn't wait for a response. She ran down the hall , through the doors and disappeared. Simon didn't bother going to class. He just leaned again see the wall and slid down to the floor, head in hands.
Why didn't you tell her you idiot? Simon thought. He stayed there until second period. He got up and went to class. The rest of the day went by without Clary and Simon seeing each other. At the end of the day, as soon as the bell rang, Clary bolted out of the classroom and out of school, only to realise that is was absolutely freezing outside. Well she had to walk home, that was the only option. Clary started to walk along the school road. Eventually after twenty minutes of walking, she was completely isolated. She had begun to feel really cold and was rubbing her arms, unsuccessfully trying to keep warm. Clary could see her breath coming out of her mouth clearly, and her finger tips were blue. Her cheeks were a bright colour of red and her hair had started to gather frost within it. Eventually Clary couldn't take it any longer. Her eyes began to shut as her knees gave way, crumpling into the snow.
