"Ryan, you may want to move away from the door," I suggest for the Gatherers and Brutes know how to bust down doors.

Ryan takes my advice and hops away from the door. As he did, the monster broke open the door. Its claws got stuck in the door luckily.

"Ok, so what do we do?" Alex asks startled.

"I'm not sure. Do we run past it?" Felix asks.

"Guys, time is running out! We need to make a decision NOW!" panic rings in my voice.

"Then let's try it. We don't have any other option really," Ryan speaks.

My legs started to shake. I wasn't ready to die now and surly not like this. I started to back up as the thoughts rushed through my head.

The Gatherer however, began to thrash against the door to become free. The things claws wiggled in the door.

"We got to do this," Alex says getting ready to run.

"Are you crazy?!" I screech full of fear.

"No, I'm just a little insane," she corrects. She then runs through the open door and pass the monster.

The thing freaked out even more, but it was still stuck.

"Come on. We don't have a lot of time. We need to go, I'll protect you," Felix said as he held onto my shoulders.

I look him in the eyes which held hope. I then looked at Ryan who looked around ferociously as if looking for answers. Looking back at Felix, I nod. "Let's go," I say. "Ryan, come on," I yell before running with Felix. I held my eyes closed tight as we did.

"We made it. Ryan, come on!" I heard Felix say and yell.

I open my eyes to see the masked man nod.

Ryan runs towards us, making it through the door. As his body passes the open door and the monster, the gatherer broke free. "Shit!" Ryan yells fumbling a bit. He fell to the floor while the creature walks towards him.

"Not this time," Alex says grabbing Ryan's arm and pulling him up.

"Raven, just run forward. We'll catch up, I'm going to help with Ryan," Felix says as Alex got Ryan to his feet.

"But Felix," I try to find words.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine," he said kissing my forehead real quick. "Now just go," he now gently pushed me forward.

I took off down the hall, turning to see Felix help Alex and Ryan. I ran blind for there was barely any light and I didn't have the lantern. Stopping for a few seconds to catch my breath, I hear footsteps echo through the hall. There was Ryan and Alex, but no Felix.

"Holy hell," Alex gasped for air.

"Where's Felix?" I ask concerned.

"He... he went to go distract... that thing," Ryan said between breaths.

I felt my heart sink. What if he doesn't make it. I fell to the floor from exhaustion and the light headedness that came with the fear.

Alex leaned against the wall just to slide down to the floor as well.

Ryan collapsed with us, still begging for oxygen. His lungs must be burning.

Looking at Alex again, she had blood on her.

"Hey Alex, are you ok? You're bleeding," I ask.

She looks down at herself. "What?" Alex asks checking herself. Her hands patted around all of her body. "No, that's not from me," she explains.

Both our heads turn towards Ryan. He held his arm that was cover in blood.

I get up and kneel down towards him. He had a large gash in his arm and it was bleeding badly. I pause before speaking. "Goddamn Ryan, you're hurt."
