"Now it's time for the open door," Alex speaks my way as I exit the room. "Ya ready?"

I shrug. "Do I have any other choice?" I ask rhetorically.

"You can leave," she said staley.

"I'm not leaving you here by yourself. It's dangerous enough as it is and I'm not taking any risk with you. You always said if I had your back you'd have mine. Well I got your back, now please get mine!" I erupt a small amount.

Alex chuckles. "I got your back. I now have Ryan's and Felix's. No one is dying as long as I breath," her voice holds confidence again. It's amazing how she can change emotions so fast.

"Then let's do thi-" before I could finish, a loud growl shook the walls around us. I pause in fear, and scrunch up slightly.

Alex's eyes were wide, hands tense and locked into place as if she's ready to claw something. It look as if she had become a statue.

The noise stopped after a quiet whimpering moan. The walls stopped their shaking and things went back to like nothing happened.

"So... the open door," I stutter a small fraction.

Alex relaxes as much as she can, her fingers cracking as she puts them into place. "No going back now."

I was the first to move after her scared wording. I was the first to move to the opened door.

Come to find out there wasn't a door at all. It was a long, narrow looking room made of stone. It had shelves to hold the barrels I hopefully can call wine. To my left was a shorter distance to the wall, my right it went out farther and branched off.

"Alex, come help me look over here," I said as I walk towards the left side.

Alex didn't speak, but she perked up and ran towards me.

On the left there was only three shelves of wine. I searched the shelf on the end wall, Alex searched the one now left of us, also the wall where the door stands. I was climbing the shelves when Alex moved to the one on the right.

"Heyo!" She cheered after a few noises of searching.

"What?" I turn to look at her.

"I got a little something called orpiment!" Alex cheers even louder.

"Awesome. Maybe there's something on the other side of this room," I suggest.

Alex nods and we both turn around to begin the new journey. She took a step just to stop as did I.

I can say the same for her when I say I saw something walk out of the room. The creature growled as it did, but didn't pay any mind with us.

"Did you see that?" I ask.

"Yep..."

Felix's PoV:

Goddammit, please hurry.

"Ryan, you're going to be fine. They'll be back soon," I try to comfort.

Ryan gives off a weak smile as his eyes were glossy behind his glasses. He took off his mask after the girls left only because his coughing got worse.

"I know. They won't let us down," Ryan smiled somewhat bigger.

I chuckle lightly. "Of course they won't."

Ryan again started to cough violently, spitting up blood once again. He leaned over the other direction to throw up.

I stayed by his side, running his upper back to try and comfort him. Worry took over everything else in me as the time passed away. The time passed away with the girls still not being here.

Ryan replaced himself against the wall. His breathing sounding more like wheezing, his skin kept getting paler, and his eyes got slimy with illness.

"Just hang in there," I say with false hope.

Goddammit, please hurry.
