"I'll see you at school, hun, promise." I told Natalie over my cell. I fiddled with my collar, trying to straighten it out as much as I could. Surprisingly, I don't look bad in this prep shit. I have on some tan dockers with a black belt and a blue dress shirt that the sleeves are rolled up until my elbow. Observing myself in the mirror, I realize how much I'm changing for Natalie, never have I done any of this sort of thing for any girl. Not even Vanessa...

"Okay, babe. See you soon." Natalie said before hanging up. I feel giddy when she calls me babe or baby, it's such a good feeling!

I shake my head, grabbing my books from my bed and heading out the front door to my car. Swiftly, I jump in the driver's side and start my baby, she lets out a low pur making me smile. I pull out and drive in school's direction. Fuck, forgot to pick up Kam. I do an illegal U-turn and haul ass to Kam's house. He jumps in, texting someone on his cell, "Who you texting?" I ask, making conversation.

"Ah... Jazz." He says. I nodded happily, if Kam gets with Jazz again our girlfriends will be friends. It feels weird, but comforting to say girlfriend. Especially if the girlfriend is mine. We talk casually about football and how it feels to be committed finally. Finally, he notices my new attire. "What the hell are you wearing?!" Kam laughs.

"Clothes." I spat, suddenly self conscious.

"You're all... preppy." Kam says.

"I know that."

"Does this have anything to do with Natalie?"

"What? No."

"Yeah it does, you're meeting her parents aren't you?"

"How the hell did you know?"

"Because I'm a fucking mind reader! No, Jazz told me." He shrugged.

"Oh, well I don't want her parents not to like me."

"Dude, you'll be hiding the real you for the rest of your life if you and Nat stay together." He said, which as much as I hate to say it... He's right. I sighed, ruffling my hair a bit.

"I'll just wear this today, never again. Thanks man." I patted his shoulder. He nodded and I parked the car in my usual place. We got out of the car and as always, all eyes were on us. I seen Natalie and her friends talking across the parking lot so I jogged over. "Hey baby!" I whispered into her hair when I wrapped my hands around her waist. I could see her cheeks pull into the gorgeous smile that I love.

"Hey!" She turned around to face me, her eyes narrowing as she took in my sight. "I told you not to become a prep." She shook her head at me, looking away in disapproval. I put a finger under her chin, leading her head to look at me.

"I know and I'm sorry, I'll never do it again after today." I said with pleading eyes. She smiled a little and then hugged me tightly.

"Promise?" She asked just above a whisper.

"Promise." I replied, taking her hand, I lead in into school. Today is the day that we entered these doors an actual couple, gaining stares from everyone. Girls glared at Natalie hatefully as guys oggled at her. Still, the girls flipped there hair for me and shook there hips suggestively, but I took no notice. The only girl I had eyes for now is Natalie. When we reached our lockers, we grabbed our books out and walked together to our first hour class. We sat next to each other, talking about our morning and some other things. Every word that came out of her beautiful lips was like an angel singing, cheesy, I know. But unfortunately, she has that effect on me and I can't help myself around her.

The day went on slowly, except for the classes I had with the boys or Nat. Lunch was fun because Nat and I went off campus and ate at Olive Garden. She seemed genuinely surprised when we arrived in the parking lot of the restaurant. "What are we doing here?" She asked, giggling a little.
