Chapter XLI: "BE BACK"

Loui's POV:

Everything around me is currently dark. I can't tell where I was. I can't see anything to begin with. Neither any ray of sunlight is visible. Nothing but darkness.

Where are my friends?

AJ?

Kiel?

Kaylie?

MJ?

Wendy?

Al?

There's no reply. I am alone again.

I ran to and fro in this dark world I am currently in and this place seems endless.

But wait...

I feel something moving beside me.

And then when I opened my eyes...

I was dreaming.

Now, I am lying on the green grasses that I have also smelled its scents. I was under the shade of a big tree above. I tilted my head not yet moving my body to survey the area.

This is where I ended up after the figure in black who is Wilfred attacked me that night and seemingly I was then unconscious.

I felt it again. I easily recognized it when I caught sight of it.

The thing that I felt moving beside me.

Xew.

I heard him barked enthusiastically when he saw that I recognized him. He was patting his paw onto me likely encouraging me to stand up already. His tail was wagging side to side and he even licked my cheek.

I suddenly felt glad after Xew did lick me.

I am alive.

But why do I feel so confused?

"I know I have died already. But... Am I a spirit now?"

I arose and sat down on the grasses with Xew who rested his head on my lap.

"It can't be. What happened?"

My friends are supposed to be here but there's no sign of them. Neither the figure in black robe who is Wilfred is here. Neither Hora and Glasseia are around to have left any trace.

I am puzzled in my thoughts not until I heard someone shouted

"Maaxx?!?"

I stood up to know who called. And who's Max?

Xew started to run and went pass through the thick bushes that I followed him not wanting to lose him from my sight.

I kept on following after Xew until I reached the place which I remembered is where the hut of Hora and Glasseia was but I was bothered in my thoughts for the hut was nowhere and there's no sign of it being there. I then realized that I lost sight of Xew and I began to worry.

"Hey."

I heard someone spoke behind me.

A hand then tapped my shoulder from my back that I twitched in my place upon feeling the touch.

When I turned around, I saw Glasseia standing behind me. I stepped aback the moment I caught sight of her with fear.

"You're safe. That's good news." Glasseia stated and let off a smile that I grew so curious and doubtful about.

I felt so strange about Glasseia after everything I have been through.

"Are you really Glasseia?" I asked.
