"Are u a revert?"
One of the questions I always get asked is whether I am a revert or not. I really love this question. U see the definition of revert is to return or to go back to. I really find this interesting. Throughout the entire day we return to Allah the Most High over and over again through: prayers, supplications, adhering to the Quran and Sunnah, and more. We were involved in our dunya related matters that we at most times forget Allah the Most High and start holding other things in top priorities. But at the end of the day, we return back to our Deen. We sleep and know we are Muslims. Here is one question: Were u a Muslim today? Or yesterday?
By this sense, I would say I am a revert everyday. I am always doing my best to return to Allah the Most High and worship Him as well as remember Him, and not worship the dunya. Alhamdulillah
Allah SWT said:
فَاذْكُرُونِىٓ أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِى وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
"So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me."
(Al-Baqara 2: Verse 152)
