Louis POV
Everything was absolutely terrifying, but I mustered up the courage of what I wanted to say for the last 4 to 5 months.

"Clem?" I said stuttering, "Yeah Lou" she answered turned toward me,"Wouldyouliketogoonadatewithme" I said way to fast. "Louis say it slower" she said in a comforting tone, I took a large breath, "Will you go on a date with me?" I said closing my eyes to avoid eye contact, "I was hoping you would say that!" she shouted with glee. "Take that as a yes?" I chuckled, "Of course dummy!" she said excitement plastered on her face.

I grabbed the flowers from behind my back and handed them to her, my face was a blushing mess, "The orange tulips reminded me of you" I said smiling. She immediately turned red, "Thanks Lou" she said stuttering, "But I must warn you, I've never been on a date so I'm not used to this" she said smiling, My jaw dropped almost to the ground, "Clementine, you can't be serious, your perfect" I said shocked. She only blushed, "Well there's a first time for everything" I said trying to brighten the mood.

Clementine POV
I kept looking at Louis, trying to admire everything about him, then he caught me, I flushed red. I reached for his hand, he placed his hand into my palm, I was soothed by the touch, my hands were tiny and his were slightly bigger, with a soft touch.

We turned to a road with a lot of slight turns, I closed my eyes and clutched to Louis's hand. Louis was very focused on the road, but I was stressed out, the road soon came to an end and Louis pulled over.

He got out of the car and signaled me to do the same, he wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss on my forehead. I finally calmed myself, I was flustered from the kiss. "Sorry Lou, it's just, I've always been scared of crashing, I trust you with everything in me, but I despise the roads" I said hugging Catcher.

"Clementine, you were scared, you can't help it, cmon let's have that date" he said reaching for my hand, which I happily gave to him. We started hiking up a mountain, me being short, it took me a while to catch up to Louis, but I shortly made my way up to the top.

I scoped out the area, trees surrounding the mountain side, bushes scattered evenly, and a sunset that was just beautiful. I sat against the edge gripping onto Louis's hand again, "It's just. Beautiful" I said looking at the sunset. "Like you" Louis said blushing, I pink hue grew on my face, I only giggled.

Words could not express how I felt right now. I needed to get something off my chest, "Louis can I tell you something?" "Of course Clem, what's up?" He said still facing the sunset. "I'm sorry for always acting like a child I really should-," he cut me off, "Clem, you acting like a child, makes me the happiest person alive, knowing I make someone comfortable makes me feel better" he said smiling.

"It's just my parents, Ed and Diana, they gave me Catcher, when I was born, they went to the hospital gift shop and bought him, I've had him ever since" I said smiling.

Louis pulled me into a bear hug, "Your parents are always with you, they may have left the world," he pulled away from the hug, "But they never leave here" he pointed to his heart.

"But Louis I must confess something" I said taking a gulp. "Yeah I need to as well Clementine" he said. "We've known each other for a while now, and your the best person a girl could ask for, but people come and go, you didn't, nobody in our group left anyone behind, but you, were always important to me" I said gulping.

"So I like you, like like you, as more than a friend" I said closing my eyes, "No jokes, no nothing?" I said opening my eyes to a smiling Louis. "When you said you never dated, I hope I could be the first, Clementine I like you, maybe even love you, you always brought me happiness, on the darkest day, I like you for personality, and you just seem, Perfect" he said grinning.

"So then" we both said at the same time, "Do you want to be my boyfriend?" Clem said at the same time Louis said, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" They both smiled, ear to ear, "Take that as a yes?" Clem said smiling, "Guess so" Louis said standing up, Clem did the same.

Louis put his phone down on the ground, facing it toward us, I heard him hit the video button, and a timer. "Louis what are you-," I got cut off, his lips planted into mine, we both went into a deep passionate kiss, I then heard the click on a camera, it took a picture. We pulled away, and smiled at each other, we pulled each other into a hug, "I love you Clem" Louis said resting his head on my shoulder, "I love you too Louis" I said sighing relief.

I picked up a rock and found a stick resting on the ground, "Let's mark the occasion" I said carving my initial into the rock, I handed the stick and the rock to Louis, I watched as he put his initial and a plus sign. He drew a heart around it, and signed the date at the bottom.

Butterflies came and planted on our noses, I pulled out my phone to snap a picture of the moment. I grabbed another rock and signed it, "Why are you doing that?" Louis said looking confused. "Well I want us to both have one" I said handing the rock to him, he repeated the same actions over and put it in his pocket.

"Let's get home, shall we?" I said grabbing Catcher, "We shall" Louis said, and we walked down the mountain trail. We reached the end of the trail, and got into the car.

Time skip~ Clem's house/ both parallels
They pulled into Clem's driveway, and both got out. "Tonight was great" they both said in unison. They placed kisses on each other's cheeks. "Bye Clem" Louis said waving, "Bye Louis" Clem said blowing a kiss.

I can't wait for our next date, they both thought

I got my project done! And Clem and Louis are now together! I loved writing this chapter, so many ideas crossed my mind while writing but I think I did pretty well, the next chapters will probably be dates and other stuff, but I hope you all enjoyed!🧸🌊💞
