Clementine POV
I was awoken by Aj jumping on bed, chanting, "Clem wake up" he shouted still jumping, smile plastered on his face. "Whatcha doing goofball?" I asked while facing him. "Lee said you have to take me and Tenn to the park,today!" He said excited as ever. "Alright, but whose Tenn?" I said with a confused look on my face. "Oh right, he's my friend from school, his real name is Tennessee, but we just call him Tenn." "Well how about you go downstairs, and get some snacks packed for us, it will be a long day" I told him, getting up from my bed.

It was really sunny, so why not wear shorts. I picked out a green top, it was a cross country meet from my old school, and a pair of short but not too short, shorts. (woah that's a lot) I got in the shower, authors note: what a surprise, the same routine. I finished getting dressed and ran down the stairs, nearly toppling over.

I grab my keys as quick as I could, I didn't want Aj to be late on his first play date. I drove to the park as fast as the speed limit would allow me too, soon enough we were there. It was a charming little park, a sidewalk with enough space for three people, thank god, surrounded by many trees, many benches were placed all around considering it was a fairly large park.

"Tenn!" Aj shouted getting out of the car, and running over to a scarred faced boy. "Aj!" The boy screamed while hugging him. I just giggled, he's finally made a friend, his own age, "Well I'll be over at that bench reading" I said pointing to the nearest bench. "Alright cya later Clem" Aj said waving.

I went and sat down on the bench to read, maybe 30 minutes passed and I got about four chapters finished. I decided I should check in and see how Ajs' doing, just as I was about to rise out of my seat, Louis appeared in front of me. "Jeez Louis you scared the hell out of me" I said laughing, "Well I am the best at scares" he said pulling his trench coat up. "Yeah we'll see about that" I said smirking.

"Bubby can I go play?" A puny voice said. "Of course Miya, go play with Aj and Tenn over there" Louis said while pointing. Miya trotted off to go to play with Aj and Tenn in the sandbox.

"Lou, how do you know Tenn?" I said tilting my head. He scratched the back of his neck, "Violet is dating Minnie, and Minnie is Tenn's sister. "Ohh that explains" I said looking to Tenn. "Yeah but Tenn is a quiet kid, because his sister, Minnie's twin, died in a car accident last year" Louis said looking down at his feet. I rubbed his back for comfort, which he blushed to, "Well I'm sure she was a great person Lou" I said blushing. "She was" he said smiling back at me.

"Alright love birds get the fuck up" Violet and Marlon said in unison. I looked at the ground, blushing creeping up my neck, "Alright give em a break" Minnie said glaring at Marlon.

"Um Clem, why do you have a stuffed bunny in your hands?" Marlon said earning a slap from Violet. "She wants the bunny she can have the bunny, shithead" Violet said mumbling the last part. "Clemm" Aj said groaning, "What is it goofball" I asked kneeling beside him. "It's cold and I forgot my jacket." He said, while his teeth were chattering. "Alright, you can have mine" I said pulling a hoodie out of my bag, "What about you, your wearing shorts!" Aj said pulling my hoodie over his head. "Aj I'm perfectly fine, I'm not cold goofball" I said reassuring him. "Alright if you say so" Aj said walking off. It's literally 90°, I said to myself.

2 hours later
"Alright Goofball we better get home!" I called out to Aj. About a minute later Aj came back running, Tenn on his tail. "Haha I won" Aj said grinning. "No I did" Tenn shot back. "Clem who won" Aj said tilting his head. "It was a tie, you both got here at the same time" I said giving them both a thumbs up. "Good job to both of us then" Aj said holding his hand up for a high five, "Yeah good job" Tenn said finishing the high five.

"Well cya guys" I said to everyone. "Later Clem" Minnie, Violet and Marlon said in unison, "Bye Clemster" Louis said blushing. Everyone turned to Louis, but didn't say anything, they were trying not to embarrass him.

I started walking, while waving to everyone. We got in the car and Aj pulled a drawing out of his backpack, "Look what Tenn showed me how to draw" Aj said with glee. It was a drawing of me, with Catcher beside someone. "And whose that?" I said pointing to the unknown figure. Aj smirked, "Louiss" I blushed, "Why is he in the picture?" I said trying to hide my tomato red face. "I know you like him Clem, don't even try to hide it." "Guess your right, but how did you find out?" I said. "Your little diary, didn't have the lock on it" he said smirking.

I covered my head with my hand, "Aj, keep this to yourself, alright?" I said fiddling with my fingers. "I will, but you have to tell him sooner or later Clem" he said turning to me. "I'll think about it, ok?" I said earning a glare.
