I take my backpack, money, and mystierous envolope and head to... someones house. I can't really say that she's a friend, after what I did, but I know she's more likely of anyone to help me.
After walking for about half an hour, I finally get to her house. There's no car in the driveway, she might not be home. I knock anyway.
A tall, blonde girl with freckles opens the door just a crack. "Frankie?"
I grin. "Raedan! Hey!" she smiles back a llittle and opens the door wider, inviting me in. I go in and stand in the doorway.
"You need a place to stay, don't you?" She looks at me, waiting for an answer.
"H-How did you know?"
She smiles a sad smile. "You're using your leather back pack that Aunt Helena gave to you. You only use that when you're going away for a long time. And Mom called." She looks at me for a second and then grins. "You can stay. I've been really lonely for quite a while, with Lyn-z moving out."
About an hour later, it's just me and my sister, hanging out on her couch. She ordered pizza, and promised that she's take me to the store tomorrow to shop for my vegatarian foods. Raedan put on The Nightmare Before Christmas, my favorite movie since forever. After it's over, she tucks me into what used to be Lyn-z's bed, in used to be Lyn-z's room. I snuggle up and go to sleep.
"So long and goodnight Frankie."
