7) The Fair

So summer vacation started after the festival and I've been loving it so far. Me and Jonah were really good friends again and we all started playing some new games. My crush on Jonah was stronger than ever as usual. It was a Friday morning and everyone was playing except from Jonah. We decided to have a go at some horoscopes. Mine was pretty good as I'm a Capricorn and my love one said "your crush will ask you to meet with them soon"

I really wanted it to be true but deep down I knew it wasn't real as Jonah has never asked me to meet with him before. The rest of the day was pretty normal, the weather was amazing too. It was pretty late at night so only me and Jonah were online. We played for hours until...
"Hey Cyrus do you want to hang out tomorrow?"
I was so nervous but this time I was going to say yes.
"Uh yeah sure Jonah. Where do you want to go?"
"How about swimming?" He suggested.
Great. Me. Him. Underwater. Changing rooms. That was a disaster waiting to happen. But I agreed.

We were on FaceTime and he even asked his mom if I could sleepover. She said no because he was going to be going upstate the next day but we could still spend the day. I felt terrible because I really didn't want to go I was so nervous. I came up with a horrible plan to agree and then tomorrow morning tell him I can't go. But I decided that was too mean and I kind of wanted to hang out with him. So I suggested the fair to him. He agreed and said it would just be the two of us unless I really wanted someone else their.

I decided to invite andi and Buffy as they would make sure I was okay. They both agreed so I felt a lot happier. I went to bed feeling both excitement, butterflies and realised the horoscope was right! Just then I got a message from Jonah.

Jonah: Hey can I meet you at your house around 1 and then we go to the fair at like 2?

What the hell was I going to do alone with him for an hour.

Cyrus: yeah sure I'll send you my address.

NEXT DAY
I woke up this morning and got straight in the shower. My legs were shaking uncontrollably, I've never been this nervous to be with Jonah. I felt so sick but I promised myself I would go with him.

It was 12:45 and Jonah FaceTimed me. I answered him and we got ready together over video chat. I put a little bit of gel in my hair to stand out too. He was doing his teeth and he pretended to suck his toothbrush like a (you know). I tried not to blush. I grabbed my hoodie and ran down my street. But of course as every great day starts, it started to pee it down with rain. I saw Jonah waiting outside the end of my street, drenched in rain. We bro hugged for about 20 seconds but it felt like a year.

We started walking towards the shop to get a drink when I got a text from Buffy.

Buffy: Hey cy sorry but I really don't feel like going out today, srry xx

Cyrus: NO BUFFY! I'm gonna die now.

About 10 minutes after that I got a text from Andi. I swear to god!

Andi: are you still going because it's raining hard.

Cyrus: yeah Jonah still wants to go so you are.

Andi: Fine see you in a bit x

Great so it was just gonna be the 3 of us. Me and Jonah got to the fair and it was pretty empty. Andi met us about 10 minuets later and we went on nearly every single ride. After about an hour and a half, and all the rides we wanted to do done, we sat at the table and chilled out for a bit.

Out of nowhere, Jonah Beck started kicking my foot, so I kicked him back. It quickly became a fight between us and we were wetting ourselves with laughter. Andi cleared her throat and said, "alright love birds stop flirting and decide what we do next!" Me and Jonah acted casual and we decided to get the bus to buffy's house and hang out with her.

When we got to buffy's house, she introduced me and Jonah to her mom and we all went to her room. I taxed her bed to sit in but Jonah tackled me to get to it. We eventually ended up side by side on her bed just looking at each other for a moment. Andi broke the silence by saying he let's go to my house now!

We all walked to Andi's house as it wasn't that far from buffy's. When we got there we kind of just hung out in the living room. Me and andi sat next to each other until Jonah forced her to move so he could sit with me. "Okay sit with your boyfriend then!" She chuckled. Jonah laughed and said "okay I will" and he laid next to me winking at me! So much was going through my brain.

We all decided to go to Jonah's house after a while. Jonah's room was really small compared to mine but it was nice. We weren't there for long until we were ready to all go home. We started walking to the stairs saying bye when Jonah grabbed my arm and said,"do you want to stay here for a bit longer?" I looked at andi and Buffy and they nodded and got excited. I decided to stay with him. We hung out for a bit longer until he got his phone out and got porn up in front of me.

So I fancy Jonah, he knows and said he doesn't fancy me but invites me out and pretends to be my boyfriend and is now watching porn with me. He kept pointing to the man in the video which kind of made me uncomfortable that he was watching that with me. I could tell he had a boner but I chose to stay quiet.

I went home at about 9 and told andi and buffy EVERYTHING!
