(Three months after the last chapter)
Me and Jonah were sat on my bed, opposite each other on our phones while fighting with just our feet. We couldn't do much else since our parents sometimes came in randomly. I was scrolling through Instagram sending funny videos I found to Jonah. I have still been worried about what'll happen if our parents get married because I love Jonah and I would do anything to keep him with me. He kept making really cheesy jokes about us and they weren't funny but I still laughed my head off. While I was laughing my mom and Jonah's dad walked in. "This better be good." I muttered under my breath so only Jonah could hear me.
My mom sat at the end of my bed next to Jonah, and Jonah's dad sat next to me. I could tell they had really exciting news as they both had a huge grin on their faces.
"What's going on then?" Jonah said slightly grinning too.
"Well we have an announcement!" Jonah's dad replied patting me on the back.
"We are getting married!!!" They both screamed forcing both me and Jonah to cover our ears.
They're getting married!!!? This early aswell. Jonah gave me the look of oh crap what do we do? I just smiled to make them feel better.
"That's incredible! I'm so happy for you guys!" I shouted, faking my excitement.
"Yeah." Jonah said, he couldn't fake anything but they didn't notice.
(Time skip)
"They're getting what!" Buffy screamed.
"I can't believe neither of them remember you guys are dating!" Andi replied to that, slightly less loud.
Me and Jonah just had depressed faces on and cuddled in the corner of our booth at the spoon.
"So what are we gonna do cy?" Jonah said. I could see a tear in his eye so I rubbed it out and kissed him.
"I don't know yet we will just have to see what happens but I want our parents to be family."
"Or you could keep it a secret." Andi suggested before dipping a baby tater in her milkshake and chucking it into her mouth.
"No it would feel so weird after a while, hi I'm Cyrus Goodman and I'm dating my brother!"
"Eww could you imagine if they changed your last name to beck!" Buffy laughed so hard she was crying.
This was not as funny as they thought. Me and Jonah were so upset that this could be the end for us. But I wasn't giving up hope yet.
