17) Fake Strangers

"Oh hi! You must be Cyrus. I'm Steve and this is Jonah. You remind me of someone but I can't tell who." Jonah's dad said walking is as I took their coats. I was still shocked and Jonah had the same expression. My mom came down about 2 minutes later and didn't even recognise Jonah. I pretended I didn't know Jonah at all and Jonah picked up on that, doing the same. We were sat down eating dinner together and it felt so awkward. "So Cyrus, Jonah apparently goes to the same school as you I heard."
"Oh really, that's awesome I think I've seen you around before." I said smiling at Jonah who still couldn't comprehend what was happening. "Yeah I think your in one of my classes." He replied picking at his food. Me and Jonah both finished before everyone else.
"Cyrus how about you show Jonah your room since that'll be where he's staying if they move in." My mom said smiling brightly at me.

I took Jonah up to my room before slamming the door and smacking my head against the desk. "Of course this would happen to us! What are we gonna do." Jonah held me in his arms before kissing me softly and putting me on the bed. "It's gonna be ok we just have to see what happens." "I love you Jonah!" I said. He kissed me and was about to start cuddling with me until we heard the door. Jonah pushed me and started laughing. "Did why are we arguing about who sits where in class!" He said as my mom and Jonah's dad walked in. They laughed and told us that Jonah would be moving in next week. We just bro hugged and told everyone how we couldn't wait.

The next day me and Jonah texted the good hair crew that we had an emergency. We met at our table in the spoon and they could see our panic.
"What's up guys?" They asked at the same time. We explained to them how our parents forgot each other and are now dating. Then how Jonah was moving in and how they were probably gonna get married! "Wait so you two will be stepbrothers then?" Buffy said trying to hold back a laugh. We looked at each other and put on sad faces.
"It's not fair you two were dating first so they should break up!" Andi exclaimed.
