It's been about five months since Jennie moved back to Riverdale. It was the weekend before spring break officially started. Both Betty and Jennie were in their rooms packing up for their trip.

Betty was getting ready for her trip to the Lodge's lodge. She was planning to stay there with Jughead, Archie, and Veronica for two days. While as for Jennie, she promised to spend the entire week with the Serpents.

Not being informed about the plans, Jennie only packed what was necessary and simple. Hearing a notification go off, she picked up her phone to see a text from Sweet Pea. Princess, I'm here. She read to herself.

Slowly a smile started to appear. She looked out the window and saw Sweet Pea looking up with a smile. She quickly responded to his text before she grabbed her bag. She said her goodbyes to Alice and Betty.

Jennie ran out the door with full speed, excited for the trip. "Hi, princess," He greeted. Jennie immediately ran into his embrace with a wide smile. He chuckled before wrapping his arms around her. "Someone's exited to see me." Sweet Pea teasingly said.

Jennie smacked his chest causing him to chuckle again. "Not you, fool, the trip." She said as she looked back up at him.

"So, you're not exited to see me?" Sweet Pea asked.

"Okay, maybe just a little." Jennie said.

Sweet Pea smiled slightly before grabbing a helmet. "Come on, baby girl, they're waiting." He said.

Jennie's smile widened even more as she got on the bike with Sweet Pea. Jennie wrapped her arms around Sweet Pea's waist and pulling herself closer to him. Sweet Pea couldn't help but smile at Jennie's warmth. Jennie laid her head on Sweet Pea's back with a smile. She took in a deep breath, enjoying his scent.

"You ready, princess?" He asked turning around. Jennie nodded her head in response.

"Where exactly are we going to go?" Jennie asked once they finally got to Sunnyside Trailers.

"You'll find out soon, princess." He said before wrapping his arm around her like usual.

"Come on, tell me." Jennie said as she looked up at her. Sweet Pea only shook his head in response.

"Jennie!" Toni beamed, immediately getting her attention.

"Toni!" Jennie beamed as she ran towards Toni with her arms wide open. Fangs joined in the hug with a smile.

"Where are we going?" Jennie asked again.

"We're just going on our bike and camping wherever we stop." Fangs responded.

"So basically road trip?" Jennie asked as her head tilted slightly.

"Yup!" Toni beamed. "We're just waiting for Cheryl and then we'll be on our way!"

Just like Toni said, the trip began once Cheryl showed up. Jennie got back on Sweet Pea's bike. Halfway through the road trip, they decided to stop at a rest stop and replenish. The girls remained outside talking while the guys went in to get some snacks.

Roaring engines were heard from miles away. It slowly got closer and closer. Everyone turned around to see where it came from. "Great," Toni mumbled to herself. "It's the Ghoulies, get the boys, Cheryl." Cheryl quickly ran into the store, leaving both Toni and Jennie alone.

Maniacal laughter started to erupt once their eyes landed on the lonely serpent in the lot. Jennie, hidden by the shadows, was unnoticed.

"Look who we have here." Malachai said as he got closer to Toni. Suddenly the door swung open and the rest came running out. "Even better." Malachai said to herself as a smirk slowly appeared.

"What the hell do you want?" Sweet Pea asked getting in front with Fangs.

"Oh, there's no need to get hostile, I just wanted to talk."

"There's nothing to talk about with you." Fangs spat out coldly.

"Now, now, that's not away to talk to your friend." Malachai taunted. Jennie walked out the shadows and into view. Malachai's smirk slowly faded away. "Jennie," He said. "I thought I would never see you again."

"Malachai, just leave." Jennie immediately spat out.

"What, no hi? No, how have you been?" Malachai asked.

"Leave, please, I don't need any more blood to spill. Especially not this week." Jennie said.

"So you're with them now, huh?" Malachai asked as he slowly got closer.

Sweet Pea reached into his pocket to grab his switchblade. Noticing what Sweet Pea was doing, Toni stepped in front of him. "Sweet Pea, let this go. He's not worth ruining the trip." Toni said as she looked directly into his eyes.

Sweet Pea scoffed at her comment before walking passed her with his blade already out. Jennie immediately turned around to face Sweet Pea. "Sweet Pea, let it go." She said as she held onto his hand.

He quickly looked at Malachai before down at Jennie again. Jennie shook her head as her grip on Sweet Pea's wrist tightened. "Fine." Sweet Pea mumbled before putting his switchblade into his pocket.

Malachai couldn't help but roll his eyes at the scene in front of him. "Was breaking my heart not enough for you? Was knocking out every member and nearly killing them, not enough? And now you joined the Serpents?" Malachai asked.

"Leave it." Jennie said through gritted teeth. "Leave it, and leave now. I will do the same thing I did that night, right here, right now."

Malachai closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "Fine." He said quietly. They got on their bikes and left.

Jennie let out a sigh before looking at her friends again. "Let's continue this trip!" She beamed with a smile.

"Are you okay?" Sweet Pea asked before wrapping his arm around her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just forget what happened and continue!" She beamed once again.
