It wasn't the news Lizzie had wanted. She been desperately hoping it would just be a minor cold. But it was so much worse. Pneumonia was something serious in all ages, but her two week old was too young for this, her tiny body wasn't ready to deal with this.
"She'll be ok, baby." Scarlett tried to reassure the younger woman as she hugged her tightly as she cried.
But how did she know that? Nothing looked like it was going to be ok, Lily was attached to so many tubes and wires, it made Lizzie sick.
