Day two part three: Friends

Welp here we go, the first not edited chapter. I have a good feeling about this!

F#%k F*k F#*~!?}~*!!!! I'm late again!!!

I've been out all day, and I just got home two hours ago from 9:35 whatever time zone Tennessee is in.

Steven walked into the nearly house sized tent, ready to get his new cloths. "Hello?! Anyone here?!"

A woman walked out from behind some curtains in the back of the dimly lit place. "Yes?"

"Umm, I was supposed to say Marvius sent me?" Steven replied, looking around.

"Ah, you must be one of the newcomers he mentioned. Alright, what can I do for you?" She said, growing a smile.

"Well he just said to get me 'fitted'." Steven shrugged.

"Alright, I'll take your measurements and then you can go wash off, there is a waterfall just behind the village." She said before starting to measure the boy.

Steven stood still with his arms out to the side letting her do what she needed. After a while, she finished up.

"So what colors would you like me to use? Any design preferences?" She asked after stepping back.

"For the colors...hmm, preferably pink with some yellow stars." He smiled.

"Alright, every one of us will be working on this for you so you won't have to wait long. Though I do ask that you give us till nightfall." She said with a bow.

"Uh...no need for all that." Steven said, kind of uncomfortable having someone bow to him. "But yeah, take your time, don't worry."

"Thank you for your patience, now go wash off and put this on for the time being." She said handing him a small red robe. "Once you finish, you should spend your extra time walking around the village."

"I'll do that, thanks. I'll be back later then." He smiled. He set his sword down next to the door and left with a wave.

"So then, what shall we call you?" Marvius asked Peridot after Steven had left.

"Hmmmm, you may call me, The Great Almighty Peridot! Nyheheh!" She laughed. Never once has she felt so powerful around a group of life forms.

"Well you and your small friend have our gratitude Great Almighty Peridot." Marvius says with a slight nod.

'Heh, I could get used to this.' Peridot thought with a grin but immediately backed out of that thought. "No, going home is my first priority."

"So, about this mother of beasts creature, when do you think it'll attack?" Peridot asked the alien leader.

"Well you killed one of it's low ranked breeds so maybe after it sends a few stronger ones?" He says as if he didn't even really know.

"I swear, I'm sending a team back here to kill every single one of those things." The green gem growled.

"Well let's just hope you can get that far. As I said, we are at your service until you leave." Marvius said with a smile.

"Good to know, though I doubt I will personally require anything from your species." Peridot said rolling her eyes.

She caught her hybrid prisoner walking off after leaving where he was instructed to go. Intrigued, she followed.
