Why do you go?

I could just warn you

Are they the only people you have known?

Come inside, and dare not lie

It's tearing me
But it tears you too
The real smile
Gets everyday
Just harder to recruit
You pick them up
They throw you down
You cry in a corner
They don't show a frown
They'll only be there when they need you
Don't you see
You don't have to be
They're the only reason
You wanna die
But is it worth it?
They're not worth the trouble
Yet, you go back
They smile in your face
Then stab your back
They are not worth your attention
You are so much better
Leave them behind
You'll feel so much better
Be happy, or stay stuck
Please don't choose the latter
Cause you can do

These friendships are toxic
You don't need these people
They play you
They lure
Got no life of their own
Please don't give them yours

Talk to me
Let the smile stay
Cause when you forget those people
Leave them behind
The smile would be wider
Your day a 100 times brighter
