In the burning desert
In the scorching flames
You lose your own ashes
You forget your own nameIn the rising heat
In the growing pains
You admit defeat
You fail to stay saneWith every cut
With every wound
You fail to rise
You only end up bruisedWith angels falling
With the world losing its light
You refuse to take action
You find no strength to fightThrough the burning desert
You could've danced your way out
In the rising heat
You could've put the flames outYou weaved your fate
You set your own world on fire
Don't ever blame
The desert and the flames
