See It In The Eyes

Can you see the darkness in my eyes?
Can you feel my mouth spitting a thousand lies?
Do you know how my lungs burn like a wildfire?
When I don't speak
do you realize even my vocal cords are tired

Can you see me crawl into the dark
Diving right into the fire... Ignoring the spark
Can you feel my brain stitching a lie
Do you ever expect me to run away and cry?

When the sun comes up, do you know I'm awake?
The entire night I'd been replaying my life
Do you know what it feels like
To worry for something and worry for nothing
Every single day and every single night

Do you think I'm stupid when I say those words?
Contradicting myself every now and then
Well... that's growing up for you
And also maybe it's just me leaving a hint or two
Oh, wait, nevermind
You don't even care

Do you know what it's like
Feeling nothing at all
Scared in the winter
Then feeling empty by fall
The seasons they all pass
Like my feelings were supposed to
I should've moved on
Afterall wasn't it all in the past?

But what's it the past
When future carries it along
This hopeless feeling could easily be stopped
If only I had the guts
To do something at all

When you look at my eyes, can you tell I'm lost
When life is a show of regret, well I'm the host
Do you know what it feels like wandering alone
With no reason and cause yet an aim to find one

When the cold wind blows in the morning, i feel it
Oh, yeah. Because I'm awake,do i need to repeat it?
The pain it's so good yet I hate it
It has to stop
End right now
But then again I'm stupid
I'd let it go on for a couple more years
Just to see what could happen next
I mean life's a mystery
And it's good to build experience

The future me is shaking her head
But hey you can't blame me
Because even though you would
You should know that I'm just Another teenager who's straight up crazy
Young and dumb
But It's only me who could save me

And so I wonder
When you look at me
Do you ever catch my lies?
Do ever see...
A shade of brown darker in my eyes?
When I fidget with my hands
That It's actually a cry?
When my lungs burn
When I start to choke...
Do you ever see it in my eyes?

Ties by blood and ties by interest in heart
Can one of you find a way to end this?
Just a look and I wanna know
What's going in your mind
What's your picture of me
Tell me and I may rest now in peace
Did you ever figure out my pretty lies
Did doubt ever rest upon you
Because I can say it without a doubt
You may not have seen it in my eyes
By I saw it in yours
