Chapter 2

Emily pov

It's been 1 day since paige was arrested and 1 day since i vowed my hatred for alison. I haven't seen her at all during school today or outside of school.

I was walking home when i got a text from hanna,

'EM COME TO SPENCER'S WE HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING'

I replied 'OK'.

I got to spencer's and walked in. I saw spencer standing there and i ran up and hugged her tight. "spencer! I missed you so much!" She hugged back just as tight.

"I missed you too em. But that's not what we needed to tell you." i pulled away and they all sat down, as did i.

"What's going on guys?"i asked, my voice shaky.

"Em...it's alison..."

i crossed my arms, "what about alison."

aria looked at me sincerely,

"em...ali turned herself in...for killing mona..."

rage built up inside of me, "I knew she did it! i swear when i get my hands on her i will-"

"EM!" aria said,

i turned to her, "what?!" i barked.

"em...ali didn't do it..." aria said quietly. 

"i'm sorry, what?! what do you mean she didn't do it?"

"i mean that she didn't kill mona, we have proof, here." she handed me her laptop,

"mona was killed at 9 pm and in this picture alison was in her house. the photo was taken at 9 pm. we put the camera in there when we were suspicious of ali. we still think she's 'A' but she didn't kill mona." i instantly felt terrible.

"so what we need to figure out is how ali confessed." spencer said.

"okay no. we need to know why alison confessed. i mean she has always hated paige and ali didn't even do it...so...why?" hanna stated.

my mind instantly flashed back,

"you sicken me alison dilaurentis! I HATE YOU! GO TO HELL!" 

**SMACK**

i filled with regret and guilt. i grabbe my keys and ran out of the house, ignoring the girls calling out for me. i drove to the police station.

i ran up to the visitor's desk and said to the lady,

"i'm here to see alison dilaurentis please."

she nodded and told me to go to booth 12 but i had to sign in first.

i signed my name and ran to booth 12.

"alison dilaurentis to booth 12." a man over the speaker said.

i saw the door open on the other side of the glass, "no one is here to see me."

a blonde girl in an orange jump suit argued.

"oh can it blondie and sit down!" a male officer yelled as he uncuffed alison and pushed her into the seat.

her eyes met mine ans we both reached for the phone.

i spoke, "hi."

she said back quietly and nervously, "hi."
