"Wake up Varun. Someone is calling you since an hour. Wake up!"
Monday morning the tragedy of my life that strikes after every seven days.! I had to get up attend college and then go for band reharsels. I groaned in frustration and got out of my bed. I checked my cell phone. Twenty-three missed calls. Twenty from Priyanka and three from Kirti. Its true, you might get thousands of girlfriends but only one best friend. Yet heart wins over brain and I decided to call Kirti first. I dialled her number and this time she didn't picked up - "Female Ego". I called her once again. When she didn't answered my call I decided to call Priyanka.
"Oh my god Varun! Where are you? I called you so many times, you didn't picked up. Aren't you coming to college today? And are you alright?"
"Woah! Chill dude. My girlfriend is also not so caring. And so many questions?!"
"I may not be your girlfriend but we are freinds for a long time and it's very natural for me to care about you."
"Yeah.. yeah.. so to answer your question, I'll be late to college. Please sign for me in the first lecture."
"Okay. Take care. And don't you dare drive your bike fast."
"Yeah. Okay. Now may I go and get ready?"
"Yeah. Okay. Bye. Take care."
Sometimes I think Priyanka is much more better than Kirti - simple, sweet and caring. But Kirti! She was hot, sexy and god damn popular. And anyways, Priyanka was not a girlfriend material and I don't want to spoil my friendship with her.
