Arden had gotten to the harbor in record time. She parked the car she had taken from Stark across the street. The old harbor was left in rough shape and the construction going on all around it only made the abandoned harbor look worst.

A light shot through the black sky, catching Arden's eye. She watched as Spider-woman soared through the sky, her red suit reflecting the dim streetlight. But just as quickly as she had appeared she was gone. Disappearing into the darkness.

The Avengers may have had the advantage when it came to the search, they had the enough people to search the entire New York harbor in just a few hours, but Arden was the one who knew all the in's and outs of the underworld.

She knew this harbor was a hot spot for all kind of illegal deals to take place. She had come here more then once to sell off some of the shit she had stolen from others. It's abandoned area made it easy to come and go unnoticed.

Arden pushed open the car door and stepped out into the cool night. The smell of wet garbage and muddy water mingled together. The foul stench burned at her throat and made her want to pin her nose shut.

She tried to ignore the smell as she made her move across the street and into the shadows. Her quick steps were silent against the cement as she moved towards a crumbling old office building.

Arden knew Todd wouldn't do the deal out in the open. He wouldn't risk it, especially not after she blew up one of his warehouses. But she also knew he wouldn't hold it in the surrounding buildings, the crumbling supports in them made it to risky.

Arden slowed to a stop as she reached the reminiscence of a demolished pier. The wooden posts still stood in the murky black water. The old wood was rotting away and the smell carried through the air.

Just left of the pier was an abandoned boat house. The boat house was tagged in graffiti and the metal siding clanged with every gust of wind. The windows at the top of the metal walls were shattered and a soft glowing light shone through them.

"Bingo." Arden smirked. Still covered in the shadow of the towering office building she moved silently towards the boat house.

She didn't have a plan in mind as she approached, so she did what she normally would; she winged it.

Arden grabbed the handle of the rusted metal door and slid it open. Her eyes were met with a large empty space and a single flashlight laying on the ground.

"Oh fuc-." She didn't have time to finish her sentence before a silenced gunshot echoed off of the metal walls.

Arden's cobalt shield surrounded her body but not fast enough. The bullet skimmed the side of her head and throbbing pain soared across the right side of her head. Hot blood trickled down from her temple, sticking lose blue hair to her skin.

Arden quickly lunged into the boathouse, using the heavy metal door as her cover. Her heart was racing in her chest and she couldn't shake the excitement she felt.

"Did Selene tell you?" She called out into the darkness. She knew he was there, smiling at his successful trap.

"Course she did. You can never trust those filthy lips." Todd called back with a growl in his deep voice. His whistle cut through the air and Arden watched as five men with semi-automatic guns stepped out of the shadows of the boat house.

She huffed, silently cursing herself for running in blind. She rose to her feet and sparked her powers to life. "Hiya boys."

The men started firing, wasting their ammo in an attempt to break through her armor, but it was useless. The bullets bounced off of her shield and clattered to the cement.

Arden shot her hand forwards and erratically moving wisps flew through the air. They wrapped around the barrels of each mans gun and flung them aside.

Arden's fingers moved and danced, controlling the wisps, commanding them. They flew into the crotch of one man, toppling him over. Another wisp yanked the legs out from under a second man, well another wisp tangled around a mans throat and squeezed.

It took more concentration then Arden was used to to attack all five men at once. The blue glow around her body began to flicker and fade as most of her focus was placed on controlling the wisps.

Footsteps rushed into the boat house from behind and a force slammed into her. She fell face first onto the glass covered cement. Her hands shot out in front of her to lessen the fall and her palms tore against the ground.

A large hand wrapped around Arden's ponytail, yanking her head back and exposing her pale throat. Her eyes widened and for a moment fear pulsed through her veins. She felt cold metal against the base of her throat before a silenced bang echoed through the air.

Arden's attacker screamed out in agony and she quickly flung all of her weight to the side, pushing him off of her. She scrambled to her feet, her head snapping towards the man on the ground. He clutching his shoulder as crimson blood seeped out between his fingers. His face was contoured in agony and all Arden could think was, better him then me.

Her brow furrowed as her attention shifted over to the shooter. Standing among the shadows was her savior. Bucky.  His right hand was raised, a smoking pistol clutched in his grip. He was clad in his form of the Captain America outfit, the colorful shield standing out against the darkness.

"I had it!" Arden called out to him. Bucky didn't get the chance to answer before more gunfire rained down around him. He had given away his position and Franklin's men had no intention of just letting him stay there.

Arden heard rustling from the men she had already taken down and quickly she flicked her wrist. Two wisps shot towards the noise before a loud grunt came from the same direction. She smirked to herself before she re-shielded and ran out of the boat house.

Bucky had taken cover behind an old car and all of Todd's men were firing at him. He was shooting back, taking out most of the men with none lethal shots.

A bullet whizzed past Arden's head, bouncing off of her replenished body armor. She looked to her left to see Todd standing tall with his gun raised. His black hair was slicked back and his grey eyes were the shade of smoke in the moonlight.

"You're not fooling anyone Arden, you're never gonna be a hero." His chapped lips twitched before pulling up into a twisted grimace.

Her brown eyes narrowed and cobalt wisps began to erratically circle around her body. "You're right."

With the flick of her wrist the wisps shot forwards and plowed into Todd's chest, knocking him off his feet and sending him crashing into the ground. He hit the ground hard with a thud.

The wisps pinned his hands and feet down. He squirmed against the magic but he was completely helpless. Arden walked over to him and peered down at with a fire in her eyes.

"I'll never be a superhero. I like being Trouble to damn much." She closed her fist and watched as the wisps pulled his limbs tight.
