My phone buzzing distracts me from my homework, I huff and glance at the screen. My eyes quickly scan Izzy's texts. I groan softly, do I really want to go to this party? I'm not that person.
My phone buzzes again: I'll be coming for you in 2 hours so no chickening out!!!!!!- Izzy
I sigh and put down my pen, I guess I'm going. After my fourth outfit, I was beginning to realize I dress like a soccer mom. "At this point I'm going naked!" I huff as I throw my hands up.
"You are going nowhere naked. That's illegal." Blake says as he enters the room. "Where are you going?" He asks as he leans against the closet.
I turn towards him and pout, "Izzy is taking me to a party and I have nothing to wear."
"You're going to a party? Willingly?"
"Kinda. Everyone is sick of my Mack madness and is trying to distract me." I explain as I take a seat on the bed.
"Ah good. I'll find you an outfit then." Blake says as he disappears into the closet.
"Love that my boyfriend has a better fashion sense than me." I sigh.
Blake come back out with an outfit and hands to me, "there. No complaints now. So where are we going?"
I let out a sigh of relief that he wants to come with me, "upper west side, I think." I go to change and come back out, feeling slightly uncomfortable. "This isn't really me, Blake."
Blake looks at the outfit, "it looks good on you though. You look hot babe."
I glance in the mirror, "I kinda do look hot... but this isn't me."
"Just try something new, you look good. Push some boundaries, you're going to a party. Not class."
I nod, "you're right. And its a cute look on me... Maybe its fine for now." I shrug. My phone buzzes again, I glance at it and look at Blake. "Ready? Izzy is outside." I ask him.
He nods, "let's party like its 2012!" He cheers.
I laugh and shake my head, "weirdo."

We haven't even made it to the house and the music is already attacking us as we walk towards it. I squeeze Blake's hand nervously, maybe this was a bad idea. I think its time for me to go home.
Izzy puts an arm around me, "don't worry. These people are chill Binali! Its gonna be funnn!" She cheers. She opens the door and leads the way in, already dancing to the pulsing music. I give Blake an uneasy look and he smiles and says something to me. I give a blank look the music stopped me from hearing anything he said, he leans into my ear, "I said let's find the a sink!"
"A sink?!"
"A sink!"
"...What?"
"A drink!" He says with a laugh. I nod my head and let him lead me through the sweaty crowd.
He hands me a cup and then leads me off to the side. I kept a good grip on my drink trying not to spill the contents as I was jostled by the intoxicated crowd.
Safe on the side of the party, I took a quick swig and looked at Blake with my face scrunched up. "Its warm!" I yelled in disgust.
Blake shrugs, "you'll get used to it." I downed the liquid and as I slowly warm up to the music, the pulsing beat slowly returned to a recognizably rhythm.
"Come on dancing queen!" Blake says as he drags me onto the dance floor. I shake my head and laugh at Blake's attempt to dance. "Come on!" He grabbed my hands and started moving them until I started dancing. I erupted into laughter and smiles as my stress rolled away. I may have needed this...I danced for what felt like forever the crowd started to get a little less as people began to disappear. "I'm thirsty." I say as I tug on Blake's sleeve he nods and leads me of the dance floor. We grab another round and hang out by the table.
Blake wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed me, "you look so good in that outfit." He mumbles as he kisses me again.
"Are we gonna be the gross couple making out at the party right now?" I laugh.
"Oh yeah. Super gross." He says before kissing me again.
"Hey if you wanna come up for air, we're playing games in the loft!" Izzy says as she taps me.
We laugh and look at Izzy, "games?"
"Yes games are you two coming or are you gonna be busy taking off each other's clothes?" Izzy asks.
"We'll come see what you're doing." I shrugged.
"We're not gonna see them do drugs right?" Blake whispered in my ear.
"I hope not. That's a big no no."
