I hold my head in my hands, a slight headache but I'll live...probably. Blake placed a glass of water in front of me, "you're...something all right." Blake says.
"I don't even want to know. Both my shirt and my shorts are on backward." I groan.
"Yeah I thought you could handle dressing yourself but I guess not." He laughs.
"Good morning family!" My aunt sings.
I groan and squeeze my eyes shut, "too much auntie."
"What's wrong with you? Migraine?" My aunt asks.
"Hangover. Binali had a little too much fun last night. "
"Oh good for you sweetie! Just don't tell your parents." My aunt says with a smile.
"I think I had fun, not really sure. " I say after downing a glass of water.
"You did, well maybe not the fun you wanted." Blake laughs.
"What- oh jeez." I put my head down, "I'm so embarrassing feel free to dump me.
"And miss out on detangling your hair from your earrings? I think not. " Blake laughs as he puts breakfast in front of me.
I push away the plate, "No. Way. The only thing I want to put in my body is water right now."
"It will make you feel better," Blake said. I sigh and bite a piece of toast. "Any plans for today?"
"Going back to bed, maybe for eternity," I mumble as I move the food around my plate.
"Oh hun, you'll be fine in an hour. Go out with your boyfriend, he's hot." My aunt says as she nudges me.
I roll my eyes, "Blake wanna stay in bed with me and watch movies." I suggest.
"How about some shopping? I need to grab some stuff." Blake suggested.
"Noooo just go online like the rest of the millennials," I complain.
"I need to try stuff on. Also, I'm impatient. Come on, I'll buy you your favorite smoothie," Blake said.
"Hmm, okay I'm in. I want my smoothie before we start shopping. I need the energy." I say as I sit up to stretch.
*
"Mmm this one?" I ask Blake as I pull out a ridiculous jacket. He rolls his eyes at me, "I'm starting to wonder why I brought you. You're not being helpful missy."
"I thought I was here for moral support not to be helpful," I say with a smile.
"I bought you a smoothie, I thought that was incentive to be helpful." Blake replies as he pulls out a couple shirts.
"Oh you thought. I'm gonna go look at sunglasses." I say as I move toward the towers of accessories. I mess around and try on a couple of goofy sunglasses, showing Blake every once in awhile. Ooo this one is really cute! I try on another pair and find a full body mirror to look in. In the reflection I caught a young guy studying me, have I met them before? I searched my brain for an answer to the familiar face.
"You should get those, they look nice." Blake said, interrupting my thoughts.
"Huh? Oh yeah I might." I glance in the mirror again for the guy but see no one there. I take the glasses off and hand them to Blake. "You try them on too." I suggest. He balances his clothes in one hand and tries them on, giving me a chance to scan the store to get a better look at the guy.
"I wanna try these clothes on. Can you hold these." Blake said as he hands back the sunglasses, his phone, and wallet. I sit outside the dressing room and play on my phone as I wait for him. I shift uncomfortably feeling like I'm being watched. It's unnerving to feel watched but see no one around.
Blake's phone buzzes making me jump slightly, I look at the screen. I give a confused look when I see the messages blocked from the lock screen. I shrug, the text was from his mom so I decided to reply. I glance at the dressing room then type his password in to look at the text.
I see the recent one is from his mom and the one below that is from someone named Jessica. I raise an eyebrow as I read the preview of the message: last Thursday was great! Can't wait to see you again🥰.
I look at the dressing room and click the power button, where the hell was he last Thursday? What the hell Blake?! Blake came out and picked up his stuff. "Everything fit, let's go babe," Blake told me. I stare at him for a moment, "are you okay there?"I nod slowly, "I'm completely fine. Let's go."
"Okay...if you say so," Blake shrugs.
"Oh yeah before I forget, your mom texted." I say after a moment.
