I tried to scream, but any sound left my mouth, stifled by the hand. There was a ginger guy with gray eyes. I struggled against his crush.
"Don't scream. They're coming."
I tried to ask who were them, but I said nothing more than a mumur.
Suddenly, I heard what seemed to be hundrend of steps coming from the outside.
"We need to leave, I'll let you talk, but don't scream." He wispered in my ear.
I nodded, to scary to contradict him. I was sweating, this time not because of the hot, but because of the fear.
He took out the hand of my face and grabbed my arm with strenght. The steps' sound was increasing, but it wasn't like they were closer, it was like they were stronger.
The man started pushing me towards the window, the steps noise was so loud that I covered one of my ears. He opend the window and grabbed a grappling hook in his belt. Besides this, there was a gun on his belt. I stared it, thinking about do something crazy, but, when I began to move my hand in direction to it, the guy realized the movement and holded me.
"Don't even think about that." He said before put his arm around my body.
The invasor climbed on the edge of the window and took me with him. My life passed beyond my eyes, I thought I was gonna die. He raised his hand and pressed the trigger, realeasing the hook, which got trapped in the roof.
In the moment we started to rise up, I heard a giant bang coming from the door and I saw fire going towards us quickly. I felt the tip of my feet burning, the explosion almost got me.
After a few seconds we got in the roof.
"Don't move, unless you want to die."
My body petrified, I didn't wanna make that man mad. He got something that looked like with a metal detector and passed it around me. When the dispostive was over my neck, it made a bip.
"Oh, that's bad."
"What?" I finally asked, more scaried after that affirmation.
"Just don't move and it'll be probably fine. This is gonna hurt." I felt a cold and sharp touch in my nape.
In that moment I felt my vision was getting black, my legs were weakening and I finally passed out.
I didn't know for how much time I was fainted, but when I woke up I was in that man's lap. We were in the top of a different building.
Suddenly, he started to run towards the roof edge.
"Wait, what you're do... Ahhhhhhh!" My kidnapper jumped over the building.
By the millionth time, I had sure I was gonna die, it was like my heart would explode. I started to hit his back wispering "I'm too young die" repeatedly.
In the last second, he pressed the trigger of his climb equipment, releasing the hook, which got trapped in another roof. Slowly, we began to rise up.
On "solid ground", I finally released my breath, that I didn't realized I was holding.
"I hope they didn't hear you. Let's go!" He went in direction to the fire stairs.
"Who are they? " I asked, forgetting for a few instants who I was talking to.
"We don't have time for this. Come with me and be quiet."
I was calmer than before, what didn't mean a lot. I noticed that there was something different in that place. I wasn't listening the cars, actually, I wasn't listening anything but our own breath. I looked down and saw the empty streets, there wasn't even a single life. Something really strange was happening. I never felt more confused in my life (the only thing that equate to that is the math test)
"We don't have all day."
I looked around to find a way out, but I gave up after a few seconds because that definitely wasn't my city, it looked like, but wasn't. That guy was the only way to discover where I was. It haven't anything to do with the fact I was a little afraid to be alone in that town, maybe the "they" he was talking about were zombies.
I decided to follow him without fight, don't knowing what expected me next.
