{Fire's POV} I look at an Instagram post that someone posted. It was on my explore page, after all.
"Boys could be lyin' to you straight to your face and you wouldn't even know. It's your choice to get hurt by a boy, not mine."
I look at it a moment and save it. Then I get to thinking: I live in a house full of boys, including Eben sometimes. They could all be lying to me this very moment.
Jack says I'm his one and only. He could be lying to me easily. I put my phone down. There was a boy in the shared room right now; Dani. He could be lying about anything.
"You okay?" Daniel asked as my face went blank. I shake my head and put on a fake smile. "Yeah, I'm good."
He nods as he gets up and leaves. He closes the door behind me. I look out of our window. Jack comes in.
"Hey, babe," Jack says, kissing my forehead. "Whatcha thinking about?"
I sigh as I put my head down on the window seal. "Why are boys so complicated? I don't understand them," I sigh.
He chuckles. "Now you know how all of us feel about you and our other girl friends." He hugs me from behind. "Don't worry, we're not that bad, as it's not as complicated as it looks."
[Time Skip]
Jack left to go get something from the garage, but he didn't know where he had put it. He left his phone on the counter unlocked, so I took it and looked at his photos.

I'm furious. He said I was his one and only. He was with this girl. I can't believe I trusted him.
I put his phone down and scroll on my own. He comes in with the guitar in his hand. "Hey, babe," he smiles, kissing my cheek. I'm too furious.
"What's wrong, Fire?" he asked. "Oh, nothing, other than the CHEATER YOU ARE!" I yell, causing Zach to shoot up and get scared.
"Fire, calm down, let's go for a ride, okay?" Jonah suggests, gently grabbing my shoulders and standing me up.
"No, he's a cheater!" I yell, prying Jonah's hands off of my shoulders. I grab Jack's unlocked phone and show him the picture.
"See?! What do you call that, Jack?! Looks like you really liked that kiss!" I yell. Corbyn was woken up from off of the couch and Daniel walked into the living room.
Jack grabbed his phone away from me angrily. "You went through my phone?" he asked. "It was your fault for leaving it unlocked!" I yell.
"Fire, it's your fault you invaded my privacy!" he says, scrolling back to the picture. He shows it to me again.
"First off, that's Gabriela Gonzalez, my family's friend. She goes to my church," he says coldly.
"Easy there, Jack, calm down, okay?" Jonah said. He rolls his eyes. I'm already in tears.
"Babe, I would never replace you! She's nothing more than a friend and she wants to meet you one day!" he said.
Tears start pouring. He hugs me. "Babe, it's okay! I'd never cheat on you," he said. "I'm sorry," I whispered. "It's okay, I forgive you."
