Sasha wakes up on the morning of April 4th, 2019. She does what most millennials do first thing in the morning and check Instagram, Twitter, and the group chat. She's been feeling unfulfilled lately. She does the same thing every day: wake up, go to work or hang out with the gang, and go home and get on Twitter or YouTube until 3 a.m. every night. She's not completely unsatisfied with life as she finds the small things worth living for. Alexis comes in her room and offers to take her to the gym to do something exciting. Sasha gets playfully offended because she thought she was calling her fat but Sasha isn't fat, she's a healthy thick, as Alexis calls her.
While at the gym, Sasha was confiding to Alexis about how she needs a spark in her life. Alexis tells her to get some hoes or wait for an ex to come back because they always come back. She doesn't condone relationships because of her past issues of abuse and insecurities, so she believes being free and doing you is the way to live. Sasha, on the other hand, doesn't want to be a hoe or have hoes. She wants a boyfriend for her own. She's getting so desperate, she might start a Tinder account. Alexis calls her dreams of a relationship 'fantasy' because only Disney princesses fall in love. Alexis takes a selfie with Sasha and posts it on her Twitter asking who wants to date her, however, Sasha was unaware of it.
After their gym date, Alexis went to hang out with one of her hoes and Sasha went back to their apartment to meditate. She calls herself a 'Millennial Hippy'. She's heavy into spirituality, astrology, vibes, reading, meditating and burning sages to get rid of negative energies. She doesn't smoke weed for the fun of it, she believes it allows her to open her mind to a new realm of thinking. She makes sure to meditate at least once a day to keep herself sane. It's her equivalent to morning coffee. As soon as she's finished her meditation, Zahra knocks on her room door. Everyone knows not to disturb Sasha's peace and tranquility otherwise it'll turn into disaster and hell, which is why she waited. Zahra also lives with Alexis and Sasha. Since Zahra wasn't planned to live there in the beginning, she sleeps on the couch but accepts it because she has nowhere else and the girls don't mind.
They spend time talking about their high school experiences. Zahra was always the social one even though she never tried to be. It's because she's attractive people gravitated towards her. Sasha had the opposite high school life. She stuck to herself and her few friends at the time who were Alpha, Mike, and Alexis. All she did was go to school, go home or to a library or cafe, and stayed on Twitter or YouTube, just as she does now. She parties occasionally but only with the gang. Zahra told her she would take her out so she can meet someone but Sasha declines. She decides to keep waiting for the right man to come to her and to focus on her life. Also, she enjoys her peace and serenity. Zahra doesn't put up a fight and tells her to follow her gut no matter the circumstances.
Later that night around 9 p.m., Sasha and Zahra meet up with Alexis at Alpha and Mike's apartment. Alpha is helping Alexis deal with an issue they keep private from the other friends. Sasha jokes they're being so secretive they're probably hiding a baby and immediately they start acting weird. Alexis pulls Sasha to the side and she admits she posted a picture of her on Twitter. Sasha was annoyed but not as annoyed as Alexis because they follow each other and Sasha never saw her best friend's tweet. Alexis had 30 guys hit her up but narrowed the search down to 10 for Sasha. Reluctantly, Sasha picked her top 5 and went on to talk to each of them. Alexis wanted her to pick one to take her out or chill with, but Sasha wasn't with it. She was upset at first, but she notices one guy stands out versus the rest. He, unlike the other guys, offered to set up a whole date while everyone else wanted to just smoke and chill. He was into astrology like her and said they're compatible because he's a Capricorn and she's a Scorpio.
This guy was saying all the right things to her and she was falling for it. Alpha was getting jealous and telling her not to trust guys over Twitter. She ignores him and sets up a date for Tuesday, April 9th. The girls cheer in excitement, and Alpha does his best to contain his envious feelings. The guy's name is Kapri and he's the same age as Sasha, 22. He checks off her must-have boxes; he drives, he has a well-paying job, his own apartment, and no baby mama drama. To her, it was almost too good to be true. Days go by and Sasha is telling Alexis all about how amazing he is. Alexis is encouraging her to just get dick and leave because she's not a Disney princess but Sasha says she feels like one. This is the first guy to compliment her and make her feel good in a while.
