Chapter 6

Jasmine could only listen is agony as she heard screams of pain coming from the cell her brother was in, she cursed in her head as the chains stopped her from moving, then remembered she could contact the Alpha and Luna. She searched for them in her mind and remembered Grimmel said something about a New Berk. She thought of that and an island appeared and she finally caught the Luna's mind. Luna! Jasmine exclaimed and a confused reply came back Jasmine? Why do you sound relieved? You were just here. The Guardian replied. That wasn't me! That was Charlotte and Aiden, Grimmel caught me as I was flying out towards you and got siblings who have dragon souls! Aiden copied my form and Charlotte looks like me except her eyes are grey, not blue. I explained and she was quiet for a moment before Jasmine heard Toothless come in through mindlink. What's happening? Is Hiccup with you? Toothless asked a lot of questions and Jasmine knew she had to be honest. He is with me Alpha, but Grimmel's guards have started to beat him. They made him kill a dragon by putting him in the obedience drug and are going to use me to lure you two so they can leave Berk defenceless. If Berk plans to attack the. You cannot come after me but send the riders instead, they can fight off the traps and free me so I can free Hiccup! Jasmine said urgently. Suddenly realising their connection became stronger by the moment. Since Charlotte and Aiden are not loyal to you Alpha and Luna they cannot sense we are talking. Just please promise me you'll try free the others. Throw the riders into the cave I think is where I am and they will hear Hiccup. I am trapped so I am not able to help him. Jasmine said and Toothless agreed before they cut the connection. Jasmine tried to roar but the muzzle held her back and kept her head down. Suddenly the screams stopped and muffled moans were heard and as Jasmine moved her pupils to see the cell Hiccup was in her heart broke. Hiccup was tied to a chair with cuts all down his arm and a gag was tied behind his mouth. She managed to hear Charlotte say to Grimmel that Berk would attack in a few months time. She thanked her dragon form for her sharp hearing, and her vision slowly went black as fatigue overtook her.

Hiccup couldn't breathe. His body hurt all over. He managed to move his head to see Jasmine chained and still in her dragon form in Drago's trap. The guards had beaten and whipped him until he blacked out. He thanked Thor that they had not hurt Jasmine but knew that if he didn't get himself out soon then he would not be able to get out ever. He knew Berk would attack soon but he was worried they would lose. He struggled against the ropes but they had been knotted below, where he couldn't reach. And he couldn't call out as the guards had gagged him. Hiccup hoped that Jasmine had been able to get some information as she had been caught and dragged in not long after he had been caught. He was worried that they would beat her next. After struggling for a while he decided that he couldn't get out and slumped back against the chair, darkness eventually claiming him and pulled him into sleep.

Hiccup woke to the slamming of a door and saw Grimmel walking towards him. Hiccup froze when he saw that Grimmel had a collar and some purple liquid but he'd had enough remembering what he had done. He brokenly let the villain put the collar and drugs in him and Grimmel led him out into the centre of the arena. His men were preparing for the attack that had yet to come and was only a while away. They looked at Grimmel ad Hiccup. "Train him to fight like ya, ruthless and a killing machine." Grimmel said before walking away and the men set to work.

Astrid was pacing when she saw Charlotte flying on the hybrid looking dragon, Night Light, she remembered but as Charlotte hopped off a roar sounded and Toothless leapt onto Charlotte and the Light Fury leapt onto the Night Light. "Toothless stop!" Astrid shouted as the dragon started to claw at Charlotte's hair, finally bringing off the wig to reveal a girl wth brown hair. A flash came and from under the Light Fury a black haired boy lay, trapped under the claws of the outraged dragon. "Who are you?" Astrid asked the boy and Charlotte. "Like I said I'm Charlotte, except I lied about being Hiccup's cousin." She said but continued after an almost deafening roar to her ear by Toothless. "Urgh fine, that's my brother Aiden and we were sent by Grimmel to act as Hiccup's sister-" she stopped there and Astrid froze. Hiccup had a sister? Suddenly things started to make sense, why Grimmel would capture Hiccup as well as the Alpha's. In a rage she grabbed Charlotte by the throat and pinned er against a tree with her axe at Charlotte's throat. Charlotte has a fearful but angry look in her eyes. "Where is Hiccup and his sister?!" She screamed and when Charlotte didn't answer she pushed the blade close to her neck and the Light Fury dragged Aiden in front of Charlotte and put a claw on his neck, making Aiden whimper. "Fine I'll talk just let Aiden go." "Not until you tell us everything, and your honest with your answers." Astrid said and she nodded, so Astrid put Aiden in the wooden cell with his hands tied behind his back while Astrid kept Charlotte pinned against a tree. "Now, where is Hiccup as who is his sister?" Astrid asked and Charlotte just laughed. "Hiccup is in Grimmel's base ad Hiccups sister is Jasmine."

Jasmine, that name sounded familiar to Astrid and suddenly se remembered the white haired girl who came pretending to be a dragon hunter all those years ago. "The stupid girl came to rescue her brother not long after we caught him, so it was easy to catch her, and she has a dragon soul so but she kept the other dragons back." Charlotte continued. "What has Grimmel done to Hiccup?" She asked fearfully. Charlotte gazed at her calmly. "That is for me to know and you to find out." She said. Toothless roared and Astrid stepped back to let Toothless slam Charlotte hard against the tree and give her a glare that could frighten any enemy. Terror lit her gaze as she was held in the furious dragons strong grip, who had clear intentions of not letting go until she spilled. "I'm not allowed to say where he is and what Grimmel has done to him, but your chief isn't the same anymore, you can be sure of that." She said before laughing madly, getting cut off as Toothless, in his rage to get his rider back, killed her then tore the cage apart and pinned her brother to the ground.

The boy whimpered, "Okay, okay I'll tell just please don't hurt me. They forced me to do this! I swear! They killed my family to make me do it after my sister willingly joined them." Toothless reluctantly loosened his grip and the boy relaxed and wriggled out of his grip and sat upright in front of the dragon in a submissive posture. He raised his head and stood up, spitting a map he went over to it. Astrid and the gang gathered around him ready to strike if her turned. "May I have a pencil?" He asked and Astrid gave him one. "Grimmel's vase is located here, just a days flight away from here." He circled an island with black around it. "Hiccup is being held in Grimmel's base last time I saw him in a cell. He looked broken." His voice trailed off and he nervously backed away as Astrid felt rage stir up inside her. She calmed down and gestures for Aiden to continue. "Just last week he captured his sister who was trying to rescue Hiccup by using him as bait to let her in. And even though Jasmine is smart, she was too focused on rescuing her brother to note it was a trap. They were taking her to an underground prison after they made her change into her dragon form. Which is a Night Light." He said and put a dot on a certain point. "What is Grimmel doing with him?" Astrid asked and Aiden looked at her blankly. "They wouldn't let me see as I was hesitant to join them. Grimmel didn't want me to free the Dragon Master so he never filled me in on what he was doing. But if you want to rescue both of them then you'll need to go down there without your dragons. I stayed behind for a while and saw that the prison was heavily armed but none of the men are good fighters. So if you have all your energy they should be easy to take down. Although Hiccup May be in the arena." He pointed to a spot on the island. "We can go close to his island tomorrow but for now you will all need to rest, a victory against Grimmel is not easy." Aiden said before going up to Toothless and bowing in front of the Alpha. "I, Aiden, pledge my loyalty to the King of Dragons, ad I swear to place my life to defend you and keep you and your Luna safe as I can possibly manage." He said and knelt down. Toothless looked at the boy for a while before walking forwards and resting his head on the boys head. He changed into a Skrill (that's his natural dragon form) and then changed back. "Thank you for accepting me and giving me a natural dragon form." He whispered.
