abuse is a really heavy topic, but it is one that needs to be addressed far more often. abuse isn't just "guy hits girl," or "parent beats child." it is so much more than that, and every form of it is terrible and tragic and unacceptable — the common ones that are seen as such, and the lesser known ones that tend to be hidden or unaddressed or seen as pathetic or weak. it is all abuse, and nobody deserves any of it.
