One week later
Today was finally the day I could leave my cell and see my family but I wasn't allow to hold a weapon, I was angry from what rick decided what if the governor comes here and attacks this place and I can't hold a weapon then I'll get killed and my death would be on ricks hands.
I saw rick and I quickly stood up from my bed and rick unlocked my cell "you get to be out only thirty minutes to visit" rick said
I hated being treated this way
I went outside to see Kacy and paisley
Kacy saw me and a huge smile went into her face and ran to me and hugged me and I hugged her back.
We pulled away and I saw paisley and I picked her up I kissed her head
"Mama" paisley said "yes I'm mama" I said smiling and crying happily
"I have a question I wanted to ask you" Kacy said
"What's up?" I asked
"W-will you adopt me?" Kacy asked
And I put big smile on my face
"Really?!" I said happily and she nodded
"Yes of course I'll adopt you!" I said and hugged her tightly then pulled away
"This is the best day I've had in a week" I said
"Alright jess it's been thirty minutes back to your cell" rick said
"She's not a prisoner she had every right to do what she did last week she was abused by jack" Daryl said standing up for me
"Daryl it's fine I'm used to being treated like a dog" I said
"That's all I am" I said handing paisley to Kacy
And I walked into the prison and went back to my cell "I get it I'm being punished for what I had done" I said
"I think rick is over reacting but he's trying to protect the group" Maggie said
"What if you dated someone abusive what would you do?" I asked "I'd probably do the same" Maggie said
"I had every fucking right to kill him and I asked rick to kill him to promise but he didn't" I said
"He doesn't keep his promises" Maggie said "I got that" I said
"I'm a dog chasing it's shadow" I said
As the cell door closed and was locked
